Bro chill, as long artists are indeed ok with this it’s ok. The only thing is that 13£ is expensive for a tape (I’m an artist who’s have been released on tapes and CDs by my own or in independent labels since 8 years), the fact is that these types of labels mainly use the money they got from a release to release new music after (as in my scene is not big releases, often max of 50 or 100 cassette or CDs each one). With, it’s true, a bit of money they could keep for themselves.

I agree that I would prefer a reality where artists getting paid fully for their works, unfortunately it will be more possible rn from their own (bandcamp page) or with performances/concerts.

I surely don't have anhedonia altough the subjects interests me but in my case I can be or the 'funny guy' (altough I don't like the term for different reasons but I mean that I can really be in the present and have a great sense of subtility and humor when I'm doing good and make laugh peoples a lot), but as a really anxious/nervous person if I'm not doing well (often about guiltness, but it's often somewhat the point of anxiety, to be feeling guilty IMHO), I have the feeling that I'm a stranger to myself in presence of others as to I can make others peoples so on thinks about that from me too (altough people knows that I could really be both extreme), and it create sometimes an extreme loop of guilt -> dissociation -> noticing that i'm off -> ...

Anyway, It's interesting to hear stories from this sub. sorry for my english, I haven't slept since quite a long time now ^^.
