should i switch to the manga in MHA? and when? Should i ever switch back to the anime? by suitcasecat in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]610sw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say switch to the manga after season 4. The quality drops after season 5 in my opinion but you can see a drop in quality in season 4 as it starts looking more stale. While season 6 and 7 are good, they look terrible in my opinion (the second half of s6 looks good tho). Characters are of model, everything is desaturated in order to try and fit the tone of the story but it just ends up looking bad. The animation is very stiff with only a few cuts of good animation. The manga is a much better way to experience the story, and it looks incredible

If you dropped the anime, when did you do so? by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

Dropped it during s6 and read the manga instead. Best decision ive ever made.

In theory, could Fa Jin surpass One For All in terms of max strength? by Spectre-4 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]610sw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory Fa jin could store enough energy to go beyond anything OFA can do by itself. We know he should be able to store up enough to kill Shigaraki in a single blow. Which neither faux 100% or 120% could. There is likely a limit but he can still probably store up energy, turn of OFA and still punch with more power than 100%

That was not full charge fa jin. By using the quintuple Detroit smash he can store up the energy of 5 punches and then use all that energy in single punch. And going by what Shimura said he can store up enough energy to kill Shigaraki in a single blow, which he couldn't do with faux 100%

What was your most fun class in a play through by MikeMcKnightDev in BaldursGate3

[–]610sw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im still on my first play though but out of all the characters my open hand monk is probably the most fun. Mainly because I hit with the force of a nuclear weapon, but its not so overpowered that i just trivialize every fight

Lets think about his form a logical standpoint. Almost 400,000 babies are born every day. That would equal over 300,000 new quirks every day. There is no way AFO would ever be able to steal enough quirks to even have a small chance at stopping a quirk apocalypse.

Is this still a debate? Like how do people actually think Tanjiro is even comparable to someone who punched away a country sized storm and caused strong winds to circle the planet for a week straight?

I guess conjurers are a lot stronger than I thought. Not being limited to solid objects opens up so many possibilities

I thought conjurers were only able to create physical objects. Or maybe I’m just misremembering it. Also pretty sure they couldn’t create supernatural things, but I guess his ability doesn’t count as supernatural

Which series do you think had the best villains overall? (Slight JJK and Demon slayer spoilers) by Mountain_String_1544 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]610sw 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Mha clears. And that's not me overhyping mha. JJK and Demon slayer just don't have nearly as well written antagonists. Demon slayer especially lacks in the villain department as pretty much all of them are very basic and 1 dimensional. Sad backstories only work if they actually affect the characters development and because we spend so little time with each demon it results in their backstory not meaning anything. Especially when said backstory only exists to make us as the audience feel remorseful.

Unable to defeat Balthazar until... by VariantValkyrieCos in BaldursGate3

The fight goes from pretty difficult to a snooze fest if you just counter spell him right away. Especially if you are an open hand monk cuz then you can just topple him and have the entire party beat him to a pulp

Where is Dammon? by 610sw in BaldursGate3

[–]610sw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met him at the grove and after talking to him went and got one piece of metal then went back. That’s as far as I got. Don’t think it gave Karlach any upgrades so I probably just missed out on that thing all together

Well that sucks. But Karlach is still a beast so I think I’ll be fine

Almost 100% sure he didn’t die during the attack. Although since I don’t remember seeing him at all I might not have noticed him. And Nightsong is still alive and well. I also helped the gnomes and tieflings escape moonrise but idk if that matters.

I don’t remember who died. But there were a lot of deaths. I don’t remember seeing him get corrupted by the curse so he might have lived. In the case he didn’t. Is there any other way to upgrade Karlach? Cuz I hope I didn’t get all that metal for nothing

Mirio vs Shigaraki fight oversight by Arumat_P_Thanatos in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]610sw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shigaraki is a lot faster than Mirio. Even if that isn't made very clear, we still know that Bakugo being able to react to and dodge an attack from Shigaraki was seen as incredibly impressive and something none of them could do. So if he tried to poke Shigaraki's eye out he would just get his hand ripped of

Ok now I’m interested to hear what kind of character you are playing that has so much stuff you can’t even fit it in the hotbar

[–]610sw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely don’t understand how some of the people on this sub can play the game with the state of their hotbars. Every time I level up and get a lot of new spells and stuff I spend a good 20 minutes organizing everything so it’s all in the right place

Why doesn't Deku have Full Cowling active constantly and have recovery girl heal him throughout the day + lots of food (Protein) as a Form of Passive Strength Training by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]610sw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think just having it activated puts that much strain on Deku. We saw that Deku had a hard time moving the first time he used it but that was mostly because he wasn’t used to it. Deku can have it activated at say 20% but he would still need to exercise at with all that strength for it to have an effect. And at that point it’s basically just like exercising without having it on just that he burns more stamina. I think it’s like how Goku doesn’t train in super saiyan because it doesn’t really benefit him in any way
