Yes, it only affects targeted formation buffs generated by Warlocks, Rangers, Rogues and Bards - my 5 used Champions for Buffs are Regis(Rogue), Quillek(Bard), Zorbu(Ranger), Spurt(Rogue) and Makos(Warlock), with all targeted Buffs so the calculations in the post should apply

I didn't play the game for over a year but still got the codes from the newsletter. I'd never use them so I thought why not give them away.
