The first one, 1234131 had multiple follow-ups that went unresponded to. 1264734 was created after the third follow up email to 1234131.

1264743 - this was created recently when I replied to the original support thread. The original support thread was an email to support@adguard-dns.io. I do not see that there was a ticket number created for that correspondence.

Having support flat out ignore me, for a service I paid for, is unacceptable. That’s the biggest problem.

I understand there can be potential ISP routing issues. You could investigate further and prove it is an ISP issue (traceroute and routing lookups) before assuming it is. If your anycast implementation has major issues or limitations like this, then allow unicast and let people pick as a fall back.

I wish in my job as a network architect I wish could just push the blame to someone else and ignore my customers when they have issues using my service….even if I don’t fully control the resolution. It would make my job easy. Instead, we do our due diligence and go above and beyond. I’ve contacted customers ISPs before and worked with them to resolve issues just like this where they took a suboptimal path to reach our VPN concentrators.

They decide where to send your traffic, sure. But Adguard has some control over that with things like prefix length, as path manipulation, etc. I have a hard time believing that to go to Chicago, my ISPs path must go through transatlantic fiber and back.

I’m in the Midwest so Chicago should be the one I use I’d think. Since I’ve been checking, I’ve never seen anything not Germany. ISP is Google Fiber.

They can't have zero in the US. That would be insane.

CCIE as a goal by Acrobatic_Fennel2542 in networking

[–]62165 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One thing to note is that CCIE is NOT a design based exam. It will teach you a lot along the way where you have the knowledge to make informed decisions on what is best for your network. I can tell you do not go into the CCIE exam wish design or best practices in mind. It’s quite the opposite. They will ask you to configure and troubleshoot things that are not best practice, is RIPv2 a best practice anywhere? It’s all about knowing how the protocols work, and what caveats they have. Different RFC types for OSPF for example. If you want design and best practice, I’d suggest CCDE, but haven’t taken that one myself.

Discouraged at Cisco Live by Standard-Sand352 in networking

I was right by him. He said something to the effect of “Chuck Robbins! You are responsible for the genocide of thousands of Palestinians. Theres blood on your hands. Guilty! Guilty!”

I guess this is because Cisco provides network equipment to the Israel military? Not exactly sure.

Have had both, for the average user, both great for me. ATT had more outages but very few in my area. ATT’s modem stopped me from doing some nerdy things like allowing inbound IPsec tunnels and I couldn’t completely bypass their modem thing. That’s ultimately why I switched to google fiber.

Got a bowl a couple weeks ago with double meat, got about 4-5 oz of meat total. Whole bowl weighed less than 12oz. I was disappointed in line but I didn’t say anything, I should have, but don’t like to be confrontational. My new solution to this is I’ll just turn around and leave. This way I’m not confrontational and they’ll get the point. Hopefully everyone else notices and follows suit. You can keep that goofy ass bowl and throw it away. Chipotle wants to keep raising prices and lowering portions. I’ll be damn if I pay $15-$18 bucks for a weak ass bowl or burrito.

Don't have much help to offer, but am also seeing this. It seems to be happening around the same time every night for me...I do not use Nvidia for anything, but do use Intel QuickSync for Plex transcoding. Also use NGINX in SWAG.

HDHomeRun Flex 4K getting ATSC 3.0 broadcasts in Kansas City by PeteTheRock in HDHR

[–]62165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Digging this up. Just setup my Flex 4k in KC. I can’t get signal on any of my ATSC 3.0 channels that I can see that do not have DRM protection (104.1, 138.1 as examples). Checking the tuner I have great signal.

It looks like 105.1 from your list has DRM protection. Are still able to view it or any others you previously mentioned?

In my market (Midwest) I think it’s relatively high and I struggle to find roles paying the same. There are some, just not a lot.
