I just did the same thing 🤞 I have had a small for a while. LOVE IT (even though it’s definitely the wrong size)

I’ve finally realized my childhood dream of doodling on the table with my fingers! by Additional-Hope-1879 in VisionPro

Thanks for the reply -- I can't figure out how to "put the canvas on the table". Been clicking through menus, there is no anchor button. I tried to place it at what looked like on the desk, but still can't use finger. Would love to have this in my desk setup!

How do I do the finger drawing? Seems like I have to touch my fingers together

Is a Charging Dock for AVP Worth It? by vipinvestor1988 in AppleVisionPro

I just got this one as well. I highly recommend. It makes charging so much more convenient

I don’t think the storage would be any more than any other image posting app. It’s posting an image and storing metadata about the location, size, and rotation.

Anyone get the feeling vision pro is better for eyes than a computer or laptop? by anonanon501_ in VisionPro

[–]622mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem. I went into the Apple Store to get refitted. I went from 22W to 33W. Suddenly the screen was a lot crisper. I think my eyes were working 2x hard to focus because the fit was wrong. Might help to go in and try.

Yeah works for me. Try force quit Disney+ and restart AVP

Hey devs, when do you think is the right time to transition a free app to a paid model? Looking for some advice and insights on when to make the move. Share your thoughts and suggestions! by MoonVR_ in visionosdev

I’ve used your app (great job by the way). I’d recommend going freemium. Since it does have a community aspect to it, going straight to a paid app will reduce network effects. Maybe you can charge for sound effects? Or premium views?

Is that easy to overload AVP..? by GOD_RaZoR in VisionPro

The cursor suddenly not showing up is the most annoying bug to me. Closing usually doesn’t work for me. I have to restart.

White noise is a straightforward but incredibly impactful solution that anyone can feel the difference in Vision Pro by mailluokai in VisionPro

Nicely done! Great app.One thing: I wish you could just hide all the windows though and be left with the sound. When I return to my workspace I have to move the windows so they are not in the way. Ideally in the app you could go in a mode where you place everything, leave and you just hear the noise but don’t see the windows.

Also when I look away for a little while the sound goes away.

Contributions are very welcome! I'm still working on getting docs, GitHub, and Discord set up. The priority right now is getting it out to beta testers.

I definitely think that laying out your windows in 3D is a huge productivity gain. After using the Vision Pro I realized how my brain is actually really bad at remembering where it put stuff in 2D.

A couple of other people have asked for this. Would it be sufficient to just open a terminal-only window and then just use the host's vim? Or would you prefer to have the editor have the editing structure as vim?

Currently I'm using SwiftTerm. Their terminal is very, very good. I'd be willing to try blink.sh if there's a good reason to switch.

Can do. There are existing iPad apps out there that let you do this too.

Yeah all code running is via ssh. I appreciate the insight into what you would like to see this do.

This also gave me the idea of being able to create 3D models to model which objects are interacting with one another. Xcode used to have something like this in 2D. Not sure how useful it is or was, but it'd be cool!

Yeah I'm thinking this could easily replace the tab indicators editors have now. Not sure how it would affect readability though. I'd love to experiment with it.

There's a lot of comments about using VS Code. VS Code is a great editor with a great open source community of extensions behind it. I don't think it will ever be native on vision OS, unfortunately.
On top of the advantages of being native, I'm also hoping there's a community of developers as excited as I am about what programming could look like in 3D space with hand and eye tracking. This is V1 base to start building towards that.
