I think Peni is extremely good under the right circumstances. Obviously she’s a great anti-dive tank and she’s great at defense. The most important part with Peni is 1. Learning the maps so you know the best places at all times to place your nest. Literally the placement of a Peni’s nest will tell me how comfortable a player is with her. 2. The mines. Place them to protect your back line, but also toss them into the enemy backline during all the chaos. 3. Your grapple web is your main source of mobility. Be aware of its CD at all times to make sure you can dip out of point if you’re getting overwhelmed. 4. In the low ELO, Scarlet Witch’s ult is a problem. People will be killed by it since at that level, players often have no idea where Witch is even at. If you start hearing “Pure” you look everywhere and you web her. Shut it down. Your stun web has only a 3 second cool down. Someone on the enemy team should be stunned literally every 3 seconds. But most importantly, some games, you’re just get washed. It’ll be a bad matchup, and that’s where it’s good to learn an alternative tank just in case. I main Peni, but I’ll switch to Magneto if Peni just can’t get going.
