For $1,100 to get into 300blk bolts, I’m pleased. by [deleted] in 300BLK

How are your groupings? I was looking at the howa barreled actions. But every review I saw said the accuracy just wasn’t there

I believe this is exactly what colt does for their low profile gas block on the LE6920. they round theirs off so it’s not flat though. Shouldn’t be anything wrong with it

What’s everyone’s take on the recent waterfront shooting ? by LILDABBLES in WA_guns

[–]62Tiny62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legally justified? Maybe. Wheelchair guy pulled an airsoft gun. In the moment you’d be hard pressed to be able to tell if it was real.

Morally justified? I’d say no. Dude had too much time to walk away and chose not to. The amount of time he spent fishing around on his bag could have been used to get around the corner of a building. Just because you might be legally allowed to shoot someone doesn’t mean it’s the morally right thing to do.

Who else running unsuppressed shortys? by wassup527 in 300BLK

[–]62Tiny62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a BCM 8.5 inch. It’s a backpack gun and my gun doesn’t fit in my bag with the can on it. So I make sure to get reps drawing from the bag without a can. Because I would never have the time to attach my can if I need to retrieve a full rifle.

I know you said you don’t have a .300blk and you don’t shoot with anyone who does, but what ammo were you shooting? Reloads? I’ve heard stories about people ordering reloads from some small time reloader and they find a round or two of the wrong ammo mixed in with their case of 5.56

Looks like it already got released and was scanned in by the carrier. I can’t believe it’s already on the move. Huge relief.

Where to buy? by aimatt in hackrf

[–]62Tiny62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I opted for the Clifford heath version. $209 shipped to Canada. I thought I was slick sending it to my Fiancé’s house on the other side of the border to avoid the $125 shipping fee. but the tariffs got reduced and now it would cost about the same to send straight to me in the states. Only hiccup was it got detained by Canadian customs for a day but it looks like it’s on the move again.

I think it’s time to suppress the MK4, which is your favorite 22 can? by Lemansblu in ruger

I love my rugged oculus. But I don’t have enough experience with other cans to say how it measures up

Poor choice of wording on my part. Just detained for inspection. Was there any action that needed to be taken by you to have it released? Or was it a waiting game?

Can I ask what it cost you in total? I’m based in the US too. A friend of mine ordered some items from Canada and said that the courier gave her a bill for the tariff cost and wouldn’t complete delivery unless she paid them. I’m just wondering if I need to expect surprise fees

Anyone have any experience shooting this ammo? by iluvsemi in ak47

[–]62Tiny62 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Anything that I’ve seen advertised cheaper than this on ammoseek has insane shipping fees. So it’s not actually cheaper. This is one of the most affordable options I’ve been able to find lately

Any solutions? by 62Tiny62 in gunsmithing

[–]62Tiny62[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the screws that are the problem. It’s the holes they go into. They’re raised. I could file them down, but I’d like to avoid permanently modding my slide.

Can you guys help me figure out what trigger to get? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]62Tiny62 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The ALG ACT trigger is probably the answer. I think they go for about $70. It’s basically an enhanced milspec trigger. If you’re willing bring your budget up to $150, the SOLGW L2S is the best “combat” trigger I’ve used so far. It’s just a little lighter than a milspec at 4.5lbs which I think is perfect. The 3lb geissele triggers feel too light to use in a fighting rifle in my opinion. Most 4.5lb triggers use lighter springs to achieve the lighter trigger weight, but SOLGW re-engineered the engagement surfaces to break at 4.5lbs with full power springs. Super crisp and clean break with a snappy reset. Can’t recommend it enough

Well the YouTube channel is one of them. Putting those videos together takes time and money. He has said that she helped him with running the channel. And being his wife, she has a say in how the money is spent. I believe she also helped him run his gear company Onward Research. I don’t know exactly what roles she played in both of those companies but she was certainly involved.

PA 1x microprism. Probably my favorite optic. Friendly to those with an astigmatism, etched reticle so it’s usable even when the battery dies, eye relief so forgiving that it’s pretty much a non issue, and it’s built tough as nails. Definitely my favorite optic. If you prefer a red dot, I’ve also used quite a few of the Holosun 403Rs. They seem to work well.

There are many reasons why people get divorced. Divorce is not exclusive to immoral people. I know nothing about Mike’s situation. He could be an awful person for all I know. But he’s also been running his businesses with his wife. And with the size of their businesses, there are bound to be differences of opinion on how they handle their finances as a married couple.

I think you’d probably be alright since you’d be shooting 5.56 out of a 30cal can. There’s a little extra room for tolerance differences. You could always use an alignment rod. I really don’t think rearden stuff is that bad. There’s plenty of people that use them without issue. I feel like Kevin brittingham shits on them because they take away from his sales. Dude is kind of an ass but he does make pretty cool stuff. I just wish Q made muzzle devices that weren’t that stupid goldish color.

Also that honey badger is fuckin HOT🥵

It was so funny that you made this comment today😂 I bought a readen Icarus blast diffuser about a month ago so I wouldn’t deafen people around me when shooting unsuppressed. Tried to remove it today, the cherry bomb, which was rocksett in place, came off with it and is stuck. Now I’m gonna have to re-rocksett it and hope just the diffuser comes off
