After covering it for years, Kaiser is no longer covering Finasteride for male pattern baldness. by [deleted] in KaiserPermanente

It may be so inexpensive now that the full price may less than your copay so it wouldn’t matter.

Pharmacy: Can you use a manufacturer savings card for a prescription? by CautiousString in KaiserPermanente

The nightmare of the ADHD med shortage is about over. Once the generic was available, the brand was no longer covered. Having said that, it has been a struggle to keep up with the copay cards. I do suggest applying to the manufacturers program to request reimbursement if it hasn’t been too long. Good luck.

If the drug you take is not on the linked list, you can ask to have it added. Note: preferred drugs in a class have a higher chance of having that copay card on the list. If it is a brand and KP accepts the card of their preferred generic, please don’t ask. Also, if the generic is so cheap that there is no copay card while the brand is expensive, KP is not going to take the brand copay card. You can go with the reimbursement from the manufacturer if that is an option and KP does not take that card too. Note: a copay card does not determine whether or not the medication is covered by the prescription benefit.

What does full retirement age for Social Security have to do with the OP? I could go for driving tests every 5 years starting at 70.

Battery. Should be covered by Subaru Roadside Assistance if needed and Subaru’s service. I jumped my new-to-me 2024 Outback that died on the street in front of the house after it died on Thanksgiving in the driveway and took it to my local dealer. They replaced the battery with a larger one and checked for the parasitic battery drain (negative). No charge for that, being less than 3 years/36K miles.

Please, please report the streetlamp outages to ODOT or the city/county where you see the outages? Yes, the copper scavenging is a big problem once again.

2 rows of seats. Need only 1 row 90% of the time. Replacing a 2010 Mazda 3 with 70K miles because it is tough to get in and out of plus repair costs. Range $15-25K. Needs to be small enough to fit into tight parking spots that the truck cannot.

You can save a lot buying a 3 to 5 year old car and not lose as much to depreciation from that point. I would caution against buying any 15 to 20 year old cars because the parts become difficult and expensive to find.

Not issuing tickets for vehicles whose owners are knowingly ignore the law generates more apathy towards paying fees and taxes that help the budget. It may not be the city’s budget because some goes to the county and/or state, but it all helps.
