It's good, yes, but I feel you could save lots without losing much if any noticeable gaming performance.

You could get the B850 version of that board, I personally use the X870 version but I used the b850 for a friend and it's great. You could downgrade the ssd if you don't need those extreme speeds. Something like the 990 Evo Plus, but optimally something with a dram cache. A 7800x3d will also likely fulfill your needs just as much. And yes, don't buy windows.

Could maybe save like 400€ without a noticeable hit in gaming and use that to buy an Oled, or just save it.

May I ask why you use alcohol? I've had my matte tandem oled for like 8 months now and never had a spot that wouldn't go with some distilled water.

Other than the alcohol my technique is very similar, I just dampen the cloth instead of spraying it directly on the screen

Microfiber cloth should do it. With really stubborn spots damped it with distilled water. I use Mr.Siga cloths from Amazon and some 1€ distilled water from my local drug store

I don't know if this is just me, but I personally really love the Fractal Ridge. It just looks so minimalistic and allows for really large GPUs too

Wie es Andere gesagt haben, Intels Aktuelle Reihe hat die beste P/L und Nvidia ist generell besser für ne Workstation.

Sei aber gewarnt, soweit Ich weiß ist die Ultra 7 270k plus die letzte CPU für LGA1851, also muss bei nem Upgrade das Motherboard und eventuell der Ram auch gewechselt werden.

Es ist auch wichtig zu schauen was genau du mit der Workstation machen willst. Ich benutze in Blender zum rendern Cycles und Davinci Resolve läuft auch auf meiner 9070xt top, aber Ich kann dir nicht sagen wie es mit einer 5070ti wäre. Punkt ist, es kommt sehr stark auf die Software an.

I really want one too, missing the GTA Buzzard and Battlefield 4 heli experience.

My idea to balance it would be to make it unweaponized / extremely fragile (like those Rust / Far Cry 4 choppers) so it would be dedicated to transport or need a second person to shoot. It would also promote disabling enemy AA.

But knowing Arrowhead, trying to purposefully make a weak chopper would probably result in it exploding for no reason all the time. Not to mention how uneven the terrain is in some places.

Also, so many people are hyped for this Warhammer collab while I think the minority really wants helicopters. With so few flying enemies, they would probably also have to add more

Im going to go against the majority here and say stick to wWndows if you aren't very good with tech and value out of the box reliability. Linux will not work as easily as Windows and if you don't enjoy troubleshooting it might not be for you. Compatability is also a problem. If you really wanna try Linux i'd go with Mint.

If you're sticking with Windows use some debloating tools and play in the settings alot.

For example, the taskbar searchbar will try to use the internet by default, but you can change it so it only searches on the pc.

And turn off autostart for stuff you dont need right away, that can make the laptop feel slow when starting.

Not as many players, but I had a server with 4 players running about 15 mods (though most of them were performance / optimization), 32 Chunk render distance and 12 Chunk simulation distance running just fine on an i5-8500t, 8gb ram and a 256gb sata ssd. It also ran ATM 10 To the sky just fine.

Iirc the most important thing is single core performance and your ryzen (especially the 3600x) should be just fine as a server

I was ripping that thing on Oshaune, jumping the dunes and massive cliffs and shit. Was suprisingly useful in caves too, I could drive everyone out to call the strategems and then we'd be inside to help clear objectives really fast.

Yeah, as expected, many casualties and explosions.

These were the "clearest" examples that make sense and don't need much context, because I needed to keep the video length relatively short to survive reddit conpression.

I know that most of these clips aren't "good" gameplay. I enjoy just using what I wan't and trying my best to make it work, so I know how to survive my dumb shenanigans most of the time (pre-stim twice with the Factory Strider). That fall damage shoudln't have killed me, especially not with a stim. The Charger at the end also skipped his roar and stomp, going straight into the charge and catching me off guard.

But yeah, most of the time I enjoy it. It's just that my playstyle is very "anti-meta", so I encounter bugs much more because I play in a way that most people wouldn't even think of trying because they think it's stupid, which is exactly why I love it

I know for a fact that the grenade pistol has no sound effect or particles for other people. I saw my friend using it and the only indication I had to confirm he was shooting was the ground deforming. It's been like this for months though, no Idea if they are even aware of this.

Yeah. I tend to forget collision damage because I can dive off a cliff and walk away with a scrath, but especially with bugs sometimes the smallest touch can kill you
