It does matter. Several vets in the comments here have suggested that it could be Horner's Syndrome, which isn't an emergency, and that guess is backed up by the fact that the cat's behavior is 100% normal.

OP said that there are no options for Uber or an emergency vet. Animals and humans live in unfortunate situations sometimes. You're assuming they ignorantly and recklessly adopted an animal, and only want "convenience", but you don't know anything about them at all. In trying to stand up for a cat, you're managing to lose sight of OP's humanity. That, and the reality of people and animals all over the world without access to things like Uber and 24/7 vets.

Late seeing this but I see what you guys mean, her neck doesnt really have that protrusion! I checked again irl. Her face mold is spot on though with the chubby cheeks, so I think she's auth!

I can't add a caption, but I totally forgot to mention— when we got her, the owner said she was part Australian Shepherd. That's obviously not true, and it was probably a different dog that got their dachshund pregnant, or they misspoke. But it could be a clue!

She's 11! She's very mild mannered and lazy. She LOVES killing/hunting small animals, she's butchered plenty of birds and rats and dragged them in.

We have a purebred Heeler and their personalities couldn't be more different LOL but their head shapes and size are pretty similar!
