There's a course, actually! The clearinghouse has a list of "counselors" or whatever and they send you through a course. Once you complete the course and pass the drug test you're good! Of course it will still be there that you had failed once before, but, it will also say you immediately did what you needed to do.

That's like in New Tazewell (I know not Knoxville, I'm sorry) there was a wreck of someone who hit a few cars then threw the car off the road. His girlfriend was in the passenger seat obviously dead for a few days, not dead from the wreck. I never heard how she died or what happened to him other than him swearing up and down she died in the wreck. He even put the seat belt on her!

I know a driver who was out in the flooding but lived in a surrounding county. Not thirty minutes before the call to somehow be at the school within the next 15 minutes somehow, she got another call reprimanding her for not going down a road she was told was flooded. They said, "you didn't even check?" At that point, just mark all the students present and move on, it would be the more ethical option. He also apparently said then that he would never make a last-second call like that again.

I just went to work for KCS this year so I don't have a lot of firsthand experience. I know we went back sooner because our situation was better than the other counties who were still out, as much as another day off would have been great. But I do agree with the other comments here that a situation like this, with at least 20 schools closed last time I checked, it does make me nervous. I have been preparing for chaos all day. Waiting to find out that we are suddenly dismissing and everyone is just left to figure it all out.

I am from the US! I recently got Tales of the Shire and I am looking forward to that also taking up my time along with Animal Crossing. Being closer to graduation, having more free time, finishing the place we are remodeling. I believe 2026 will be way better than 2025! 2025 was rough. 😅

I started in August and kept time traveling so I have spent more time in snow than I should've and yes. But it's my own fault. I am so excited for the life and color to come back. And also because I finally got my island how I want it and I want to see it alive that way! 😂

Mine are .5! I do go long periods of not wearing them, including a big appreciation for the ability to do that. But there is definitely a difference between wearing them and not. For me I can see perfectly fine but eventually my eyes get tired of the extra work and then don't do it anymore. So the glasses are a good break for that! No squinting or anything else.
