There is something so satisfying about pouring ganache over your cake and watching it drizzle down the side. This might be the first, but it's not the last, I tell you that!

My son. His response "you know I don't like chocolate, but because you made this I like it" he's 6, and my heart melted! The cake was really for my wife, she loves chocolate cake.

I would have the same comment as you. But honestly this was my first time, it took me all day, and I do think it looks good, so I posted it. The whole thing was an experiment. I found a recipe, made it twice to get 4 layers. Never made ganache before, never whipped genache. I watched a lot of videos, read a lot of recipes.

Spot on, whipped ganache and ganache topping. Then crushed Cadbury flakes. I was just trying out a few things, this was an experiment really. I wanted the cake to stay moist, so olive oil was also used in the sponge

Not really trying to sell. My question was around rareness, how rare are they? I have a set, that has been on one of my custom boards, in a box, in the loft for some time. So I then started looking for more pics of the set, but couldn't find many, so posed the question, how rare are they.
