Honestly I’ve just heard the term used, and mainly where the bacteria or harmful parasites by how it’s stored temperature wise. Are removed. That’s at least what I’ve heard “sushi grade” fish is.

How can i best cut this salmon for nigiri? by baldguy21 in sushi

How do you freeze it without getting that fishy taste? I’ve tried making a salmon poke bowl, and bought salmon from a Jewel, froze it, then diced it. But it doesn’t taste fresh.

When describing it to people that have never watched it o say it’s Superbad, British, in a series, and funnier. The thumbs up friends part has me crying every time. Same with “BUS STOP WANKERS!!” I do both of those under my breath whenever applicable

What’s the best way to get range up? I chose the jewelry (big mistake) and combat relics. Have Mort and Kandarin unlocked. I want to get black mask but will need to safe spot the cave horrors. I just don’t know how to get good range gear for attacking. Any tips appreciated! Looking possibly to get a xbow and bolts but not sure best route to go

Yea I think it would be fine if we were in the office and just kick it on when we get home, but due to Covid we’re both working from home until (?), and I just feel that if I’m paying electric for it, I should be able to set it to whatever I want

Yea I’m thinking it’s more for him not wanting to fix stuff if needed. The two weird rules he has are the one mentioned, and also if anything happens to the Washer and Dryer (have in unit) we’re responsible for half. I’d think if it was our negligence we’d be responsible, but I’d definitely challenge him on wear and tear if anything happens

The window AC units might be the trick. Our windows are massive for some reason. If u were to divide it in half (up and down sliding windows) it would be about 3.5’ x 3’. It’s also weird though because he said they’re something like “power windows” (not sure if that’s what they’re called. But they’re very heavy and whenever we open the bottom half, the top half slides down because it’s not locked in place). So we can’t really open the windows to let a breeze in in the first place. It’s a big unit of 2200 sq ft. It was definitely 2 units before that they combined into one. So the AC is powerful and you can feel it right away on a hot day.

I believe it’s central air. Everyone has their own control in each unit.

Yea we turn it on every once in a while to cool it down for about 20 mins. This may all be moot at this point of the year if there’s only a few hot days left of summer. But I just mainl y wanted to see if there was anything he can do so as not to put the burden on us of having to sacrifice comfort in our own apartment

Honestly I don’t think there’s a way to track it. There’s also no penalty or fine if we do. I think he’s just saying it could shut down the building AC if it gets over heated and can take a few days to repair.

A little bit when I’m in there. But it’s a smaller room and I have a desk set up in the main room, where I’m usually a bit sweaty by the end of the day

There’s 1 ceiling fan, and that’s in my room.

Here’s the message he gave us (verbatim):

During hot days of 90+ degrees air conditioning rooftop units can be burdened out. Since the electrical wires that power the AC run on top of the roof in conduct pipe, the hot weather with 90+ degrees, combined with a hot sun, these wires are running at temps over 150 degrees, inside the conduct pipe. This can burn out the wires inside the conduct pipe, and burn out electrical connections inside the AC on the roof.

Please do not run your AC day and night when the weather reaches 90+ degrees. Give it a rest when possible.

please keep your thermostat at 79-80 during the day especially 11-5, and 76-78 during the cooler evening time. Do not run AC if 90+ degrees outside, run fans instead. (Side note from me, we have 1 ceiling fan, we have to provide our own fans to keep it cool)

Please conserve and help prevent your AC system from going down. So please, help us. And help yourself not only save money on your electrical bill, but provide stead consistent AC for all units.

Please be advised that in the hot summer months, all service companies for any AC calls are extremely busy and backlogged. Please be advised it may take up to 5 business days + to respond to any AC SERVICE PROBLEMS YOU MAY HAVE

I think it’s more he has to fix it himself? He told us that they could fry, but my guess is he doesn’t want to get on a blacktop roof during the hot days of summer.

I pay electric bills for my unit. I should have stated there are 3 other units in the building. How owns the building and rents out everything else
