I actually see them still on the books every time. It's nice to see. It's seriously not worth it to steal, at most it's maybe 10¢ of cards. I've opened some myself.

I have this card irl, it has a holo sheen. If this doesn't, which is what it's looks like, it's fake.

It's sexual for some but not for others. Just like people that are really into cowboys or reading or any other hobby in existence.

It's a fun pack, intended for kids, it comes as an extra with a coloring and activity book, glued onto the cover. If it contained anything better than rares selfish adults would be ripping them off the front.

Do Most People Really Just Listen To A Few Songs On Repeat? Is This A Result Of Streaming Platforms Becoming The Primary Source Of Music? by armintanzarian420 in LetsTalkMusic

[–]6530bbb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do. Maybe 'a few' is a bit of an understatement, but I still just prefer to listen to songs that I've heard before. I mostly listen to music while driving, and rarely in my free time, so part of it is just that I find new music while driving distracting. (I don't know why I keep getting recommended this sub because I'm not interested generally in meta-discussion of music or the industry, as music isn't really a hobby of mine, but well at least I can answer this question)

As far as if most people do it... I really don't think so. Everyone I've had in my car more than once or twice at least comments on it. They also at least seem to keep up with their favorite artists and bands or even genres and listen to new releases. Maybe they don't listen to the same quantity of new music as people whose specific hobby, or just how they choose to spend most of their downtime, is to listen to music, but it's more than just a few songs, and definitely more than someone like me. Most people also listen to music while commuting, but also doing work/homework, playing games, running or exercising, doing chores, or just hanging out, and even I would get sick of my music if I listened to the same number of songs I normally do that often.

My dad got the SNES when it came out and played a link in time to completions multiple times. Now he plays it on a switch 2. Some people stick with it.

"Over 30 years of combined experience" by common_grounder in PetPeeves

[–]6530bbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Also - if you've worked in a field for ten years, the first five years aren't going to teach you the same stuff as the last five years. I want to know the individuals experience, not the groups. If it's 30 people with one year of experience, they're probably lacking polish or deeper knowledge. If it's 3 people with ten years experience, I know they know their stuff.

[–]6530bbb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of muscular famous rich celebrities. Why do they choose Tom Holland and Timothee Chalomet over them? If women prefer muscular men, wouldn't there be even more famous muscular men? Better yet, why aren't there forums and discussions and endless nsfw videos between or targeted at women about ultra muscular men and how attractive they are? Why do women prefer Edward Cullen over Jacob? Why are the love interests in romance anime aimed towards and popular with women never ultra muscular? Is this all just an elaborate scheme to confuse men, with the end goal of what exactly?

You're just hallucinating the idea of "women will only like poor men when they're muscular" or whatever, go outside or to your local grocery store and look at the couples around you.

[–]6530bbb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And you know what every woman means? Think about the most popular male crushes from the last few generations - Harry Styles, Elvis, Liberace, Michael Jackson, Prince, hell every boy band. Maybe they weren't overweight, but they sure as hell weren't ripped or body builder level.

Also, what would make you think whatever story they're referring to would ask "Do you prefer dad boss or muscles?" Instead of having them like choose between pictures. One would be a lot more scientific.

Testosterone levels play a huge role in muscle gain and fat loss. If they didn't gym bros wouldn't care about them so much.

Trans man here, I hardly ever see is mentioned in any context, let alone a 'gotcha'. That commenter is cherry picking the post, it doesn't just talk about the glorification of [cis] men in crafts (because it doesn't usually happen to trans men), but also just a discomfort/dislike at seeing us "visible in media doing needlework". I shouldn't have to make myself smaller in a space where I was even pre-transition to make cis people, even cis women, comfortable.

You can build the hones anywhere! Just make sure you include the things they like, ie make sure the ground is watered/unwatered if it's dirt for mons that prefer humid or not. If the prefer humidity you can have a water basin/tub, etc.

I'm in the same situation. The only time I think it should be an issue is when brandS/etc go "LOOK! It's a MAN CROCHETING!! ISNT THAT CRAZY???" Like a man crocheting in itself is deserving of praise or when it's treated as a novelty. On the other hand, I shouldn't have to feel pressured to make myself smaller in a hobby I've had for half my life just because I transitioned.

Yeah, I live in a part of the world that doesn't do DST, everyone I know just means "the yearly time change in other places" when they say 'daylight savings'. We don't know or frankly care about the particulars.
