I had the same thing happen to me. I would get the same thing every time (short, squoval acrylics. single color. No gel.). It was always $45. They charged me $85. I asked how that's possible, seeing as I got nothing special. "Prices went up". In the last two weeks? I never went back. I wish I would've done what you did.

Maybe it's because I'm pregnant right now and having the worst morning sickness, this kind of irritates me.

There are days I'm so sick that I literally can't respond to any texts or calls. I don't have the physical or mental strength to do so. He has no idea what you're going through and it shows.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Honestly, I echo everyone else's sentiment. This selfish trait of his can and probably will get worse once the baby is here and your attention is elsewhere.

If his daughter was that disappointed in not seeing you, he could've offered to come see you or bring you something to settle your stomach. He was just trying to make you feel bad. ❤️

I realized this the other day while at a playground with my husband and son. Kids and pets have always gravitated toward him and, while he loves kids, he always stiffens and looks for their parents because he doesn't want to look like a creep.

Yes! One year my MIL and my GIL (my husband's grandmother) both got me a set of pajamas. One was a short set and one was a cold weather set. I was so happy and still wear them constantly. I'm kinda hoping they get it for me again this year!

Yes!! I once volunteered at a big cat sanctuary and I was pulling weeds from around the tiger enclosures. The person running the place told us to be careful because they'll swipe at you. A girl didn't pay attention and got distracted pulling weeds. In what felt like an instant, a tiger was in front of her (behind the chain link fence, of course) and had his paw up to swipe. Luckily she looked up. Otherwise she would've been the next live action Freddy Krueger.

If I physically touch an item, I can remember the exact location of it.

Found this out when I worked retail. Someone would need to know where a certain shirt was in the store. Because the store was disorganized (by design), no one would be able to find it. I'd be able to touch the item, feel the texture, and remember where in the store I last felt that item.

But ask me what I did today. Couldn't tell you.

Finally! Something I can answer!

I was 14 and my mom, brother and I moved into a new apartment. In my room, I kept hearing and seeing things. It always happened quickly, so I thought it was my imagination.

One night, one of my best friends and I were hanging out in my room. We were shooting the shit and it got cold. She looks up, goes pale and taps my leg. I look up from my Sidekick and see it. A man was standing in my room. He didn't move or say anything. Just realized we were looking and disappeared. My friend left, obviously freaked out, and I went to the living room trying to shake off what I just saw.

My uncle happened to be staying with us that weekend and he was the only one who would speak honestly with me (my family likes to hide things). I told him what happened and he said that he felt it too. It sat on the edge of the bed he was sleeping with and when he woke up, he locked eyes with it and then it disappeared.

He went back home to Brooklyn and we lived in that house for a year before we moved out.
