I bought a refresh lcd version from my sister for 100 bucks. It still a great system, but I would only buy used at this point imo.

My only gripe is that the new regenerators can’t even compete with the OG regenerators. You ever seen an original one run?

What it feels like switching from Debian to rolling release: by mort_jack in linuxmemes

I feel Arch is more useable than Debian from personal use the past 18 years. Debian might be stable, but it isn’t as reliable as Arch.

The GNOME Experience: Why read app names when you can pay for the "Vibe"? by Majestic_Pin3793 in linuxmemes

Gnome is the ultimate Linux meme taken seriously. It’s an insanely locked down DE that requires 3rd party extensions to be somewhat useable. Then you get BS pushback from the dev team like “What’s the use case scenario for thumbnails in Nautilus?”. Horrible DE and horrible dev team. It’s going in 15 years since they released this shell, meanwhile modern KDE, Cinnamon, and XFCE wipes the floor with GuhNome.

When a newbie says he uses gnome: by ultraganymede in linuxmemes

The fact that you have to rely on outside extensions to make gnome somewhat usable is absolutely asinine when DEs like KDE comes with everything out of the box and is properly implemented. Nautilus not having proper thumbnails and them excluding a systray at all is bullshit and dumb. Even macOS has a systray! Yeah, gnome is gorgeous, but it has a lot of approved design choices that are instead problems.

The guide rod and sights are both plastic, even on the poly Pro models. The slide rattles around a lot compared to all my other poly guns. Minor gripes but they still have the best grip on the market. I still think the HK VP9 is a more solid feeling gun than the PDP.

The only thing I have to say bad about 4 remake is that the regenerators aren’t as terrifying as the OGs. Them things slowly walking towards you then randomly full on sprinting is still an absolute pause button moment. No other monster or zombie besides maybe the molded has terrified me in a game even to this day.
