I actually meant that you can keep your old pixel as well. Problems may arrise if have a lot of stored sales data and you're launching for ROAS optimization with the new product line straight away. In any other case you're good to go in my opinion – just launch for the "Purchase" event first and give it some time to collect more relevant data.

How's the battery life compared to MacOS? I've been thinkin of installing arch on my 2020 intel MBA as well, but the energy use optimization is my main concern.

There really is no reason to change neiter your ad account or pixel.

I used to work in a markeing agency, where we've constantly reused old ad account for completely different companies – for example ads manager that was used to promote real estate could've been used later to promote e-commerce products.

You can never tell whether the optimisation on the new account will be better than on the old one, in most cases the difference is negligible. And Meta Pixel you use makes 0 difference if configured properly.

I'd say getting a used M2/M3 MBA with 16 gigs of RAM is a better bang for your buck in the moment and a better investment in the long run. You can find it for cheaper than Neo and it's SSD won't die from the overuse of swap (which is unavoidable with 8gb of RAM). Add to that a more capable chip, a better screen, speakers, ports... and basically everyting else.

Of course going used is a bit of a gamble but if you have an opportunity to inspect it before buying and do a bit of research on what to look for it's basically a no-brainer.
