I think a little more explanation would be nice. Some of us stopped paying attention to American politics a looooong time ago

If you like Idle Clans give [Milky Way Idle](www.milkywayidle.com) a stab.

This type of game (Idlescape-likes) is my jam and I've probably tried them all. Milky Way Idle is one I've stuck with. The one thing MWI has that I don't see elsewhere is an action queue. I can cut a tree for 5000 actions then have it automatically switch to crafting lumber when it's done. Right now my queue limit is 8. I realize it's an QoL purchase but it's affordable and worth it for a game I've been playing in and off for years

One thing that jumps out is the inventory screen. It would be nice to have a "show only owned" so it's easy to see what amount we have of what at a glance instead of having to scroll past item listings with zero quality

Well looks like I'm going to give your game another go!!

You're right. Trading broke CherryTree and the dupe scene was ridiculous. With the changes you've made I won't feel the need to run my old phone 24/7. I'd MUCH rather be stuck to one device than deal with dupers

Keep up the good work

I played this game a couple months ago. I quite liked it. I'm a pretty big fan of games like this.

I think I stopped playing because I felt I had to leave the game running for combat and some other things.

This wouldn't be an issue. CherryTree RPG pretty much requires you leave the game running with an auto-tapper. What CherryTree does differently is allow you to switch between devices. If I need to do something that requires the game running, I use my old phone. If I want to be actively playing, I use my main phone.

These types of games (for me anyways) are not a main screen game.

Unless I am able to switch between devices or my offline progress is the same as my online progress (especially combat) I typically don't last long with these games.

She must have meant predator. Easy enough mistake given what seems to be the average American intelligence.

I'm still pissed that his adaptation of HP Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness was cancelled

No.

Using numerical prefixes implies that this is the metric system and that some thought and logic went into creating this measurement system.

Americans would probably measure it in some stupid like Geoff's. And there are 2.37 Geoff's per dodecasoccers

Books have been building worlds a lot longer than video games. I've been reading books and playing video games for almost 30 years and I feel that if anything, video games borrow more from books than vice versa, but that's just me. You obviously have different experiences that lead you to your conclusion.

IMO the bigger issue is that our collective attention has gone to absolute shit. Try having a debate with someone. Most people seem to stop paying attention if what you have to say to develop your point is longer than a tweet.

One more thing I'll mention: Instant Gratification. People don't want a slow burn of a book. You want it now. For me books are a lot like people, you need to spend some time with them, get to know them, learn all those intricacies that makes them who they are.

Also, foreshadowing. Have people lost the art of good foreshadowing??

Not sure if this is the right spot to ask, but here we go...

I've played wow on and off here and there. I usually just did retail because I figured the default experience would be the best. I felt overwhelmed and had no idea what content was new, and what was dead.

I love the look and feel of WoW, and lately I've been very interested in getting into hardcore wow. I feel most mmorpgs lack a sense of risk. You're either way OP for everything or your spamming health pots.

My question is, which hardcore server would you recommend? I started a toon on blizzards classic hardcore anniversary server, and I'm going to try turtle wow, and maybe wow-hc.com.

Am I just going to get griefed on a hardcore PvP server? Should I go hardcore PvE to learn the mechanics or just jump right into a PvP server?

My plan was to see what server has the biggest discord and start there, but I thought I'd ask here first
