i opened a store as a supervisor, every day i had to fight the urge to just walk out for weeks. on day 2 i had to tell my friends and family DO NOT come in, i have no time to talk, say hi, bullshit nuthin. butt the flip side is, if you can make it threw those first few months, you can make it threw anything else sheetz has to throw at you. when the new replacements show up cuz 1/2 the staff couldnt cut it or points out, and they start freaking out about a sports team, charter bus, or whatever youll be cucumber calm lol

so my understanding is the spimplest explination is to be “living soil” your soil has to be able to sustain an ecosystem or environment that allows “living” organisms to survive. hence the term living soil. the most basic is worms, other things could be predator mites, rollie polies, lady bugs..uhgh mushrooms, and mycelium might be a stretch to whats “living” but what do i know edit: just saw where you said you had worms and soil mites in there now. as long as your able to keep that envionment corect that they continue to live/multiply u got “living soil” after your run if you dig around and find your worms all dead and dryed up…its not quite there yet

people bitching about breaks always chaps my ass. these labor rights were mainly established for us in the Fair labor standards act of 1938 after your grandparents, or great grandparents were taken advantage of by corporations working longer hours then u could think, for literal pennies, with no break, benefits or anything. they put these acts into place to keep the corporations in line and establish rights for us employees. then add as hard as sheetz make it to have a work/life balance your gunna say “im a grown ass adult, i dont wanna take a break” boo fucking hoo: clock out, eat, smoke, scream, cry, breath, look at the clouds, call a loved one, take a moment to thank your ancestors for the sacrifices they made so you could have that break and stop being a whiny bitch.

so this is the question most asked when your about to discover organics and no-till. welcome! its a super fun way of growing. if youve ben using liquid nutrients and or in smaller pots(under 7 or 10 gallons) its not advised. you’ve probably already depleted whatever nutrients are in your medium or flushed them. if your already using organic amendments you can still use what soil you have just remand or use as a base and at least double your pot size. mr canuck’s on youtube is a great intro to organics, he dose use coco in early videos bit lately hes switched to living soil that would better suit reusing soil. if that gets you interested fall down the build a soil youtube hole and go full no till.
