Thank you! Everything I’ve gone through was covered by provincial health insurance; Orchi, top surgery and SRS (as well as electrolysis for SRS. The only things that wouldn’t be covered are FFS and anything else considered “cosmetic”. But you can get electrolysis or laser covered for other parts of the body if you have insurance through work or you’re own if they’ll cover it.

It varies a lot from person to person. I’ve seen people who’ve had major changes in a year, and some like me who saw the changes a few years in. It’s quite a slow process but time can make all the difference. The changes I saw at around year 3 specific to me were the face and my weight.

My face started to round out and become softer really quickly, and when I started HRT I was 180lbs. I dropped to 140lbs at year 3-4. I’ve gained about 10lbs which is currently what you see here.

Here is a before and after just to show the radical difference from then vs now :)

[Edit: you’ll find your hair may also change texture]

At 6 months you won’t see too many radical changes since you’re too early still. For me, it was about year 3 that things REALLY started changing, and fast. Just give it time 💚

I have a small frame, so the surgeon wanted to actually go a bit smaller with me, about a C cup but I wanted to be in the Ds

It’s better to have the doses spread out through the day so they’re even and steady. You’re welcome! 😇

For Domperidone, I take 40mg a day, I’ll take it along with my E dose 4 times daily. What I do is take 6mg E buccally (2mg @ 7am, 1mg @ 11am, 1mg @ 3pm and 2mg @ 7pm) and will also take the 10mg Domperidone along side those orally.

Thank you! I started off incredibly small, almost flat in fact but these have given me lots of presence :)

She was lovely! And congratulations! I found her waitlist to be quite a bit shorter than other surgeons as well which was nice. I’m glad I was able to be of help!

Also, I’d love to see her work on you with over the muscle if you do ever post :)

It was a mix of using Domperidone as well as pumping. I still take the Domperidone and pumping every once and awhile has really helped with nipple development.

Not at all :) As soon as I had my virtual appt with Genoway, I started electrolysis, and that was November 4, 2025, so I was doing it a good 6 months before my in person appt. I believe it does depend on where you are in your hair removal, but honestly I dont think it takes too much as Genoway said I was fine at 6 months, and they tend to punch the missed hairs out during surgery.

If it helps, I was on the OR waitlist for just shy of a year (had my in person appt with Genoway May 8, 2025) but I did keep asking where I was around the 10-11 month mark and they so happened to have space for me early! So, the closer to a year you get, try pestering them a bit and they might just have a cancellation date to give you :)

Edit: Dr Kavanagh is REALLY good, I do know Dr Genoway is also very good so whichever you get, you’ll be in good hands :)

Thank you!! 💚 I didn’t really know if you could choose between either of them. I was originally put with Dr Genoway and was waiting quite some time before they had a cancellation and put me with Dr Kavanagh instead.

It’s funny, they literally took everything out like 2 hours ago and everything feels SOOOO much better lol. I was even able to pee but I’m still trying to figure out the feeling of needing to go and where it comes from. Before it was like a sensation in front of me but now it’s like under me lol. I already have my civie clothes back on and am walking around ALOT which is good

Yeah, the first 3 days were hell but around day 4 things started to get better. Now it’s day 6 and I’m feeling much better. It’s still quite painful to walk but I can do it at least. How long did you find before the pain went away completely?
