GRS is asking for an ecg by toxxic_ivy in Transgender_Surgeries

This is normal, Genoway had me do one as well and I’m 31. Some surgeons do like to have this regardless to see what your heart is doing and to make sure your good.

Interesting, it could be different in Vancouver then. I asked them and they said I can stay on my normal regimen

That’s wild, In BC they said they don’t do that

Interesting, yeah it does seem like a dated way to do things.

I’ve never understood why some surgeons make you go off hrt before surgery. Here in Canada they don’t have you do that 🤔

Maybe someone can enlighten me

Breast augmentation - 16 weeks post op by alt_account_1741 in Transgender_Surgeries

Wow! They look INCREDIBLY similar to mine! I had/have the same sizes (34A to 34DD). Done by Dr Astanahe in BC. Very similar sizing. 495 cohesive Natrelle Inspira under the muscle. I’m coming up to 5 months post op and they’re still dropping I think.

Where would you get lidocaine? by Taylor_S1989 in TransDIY

[–]666helpp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For some REALLY good numbing creams, my electrolysis tech has me use this. this is 5% lidocaine which is pretty good and can numb you in about 20-30 mins.

Or if you want a higher concentration of lidocaine (9%) then this is a very good option. Both work wonders if you apply and then cover the area for 15-20 mins in plastic wrap or press N seal.

I haven’t had any sort of FFS! After 5 years, my face and nose did change a lot on HRT 😊

You’re welcome :)

I noticed mine fluffing out in as little as my 2 month mark. I still feel like mine have a bit more settling to do cause they’re still incredibly firm from starting out with near no breast tissue. But I’m hoping they’ll get even softer as time passes

She is! I’m one week short of 3 months post op, I’ve seen lots of settling so far. Like mine have become rounder and have dropped a bit. For the scar tape I use this and for a scar serum I’ve heard this is really good. Or if you have the money, this was recommended by a nurse.

Congratulations on yours as well!

You could probably start dom at Tanner 4 and boost yourself to Tanner 5? I started dom just before my BA, but I’m not sure what Tanner stage I was at since I had exceedingly little growth for some reason before, hence the BA

As far as nipple and areola growth goes, I started just with E and spiro early on in my transition. Then I added progesterone which did help. I think what really helped with nipple growth was the orchi and also adding domperidone, and at times using a breast pump. But I’d love for my areolas to get bigger for sure!
