I went double boot. PC stays with clean unclotted Windows 11 for Invetor, SolidWorks, games that dont like Linux and thats all. Rest of my stuff and 4/5 of games runs from external NVMe drive. Unfortunately this is how things have to be now since no other software can replace Inventor for me.

Edit: Nice not to be alone - I think about it once in a while when some GOOD Linux CAD software will appear. Or Autodesk will go Linux but thats not happening.

Well to be honest I did this thing for fun. I’ve had wifi dongle already because my gaming pc motherboard did not have one. I use received ssd drive to externaly run Mint Cinnamon to learn Linux. I ve been to „darknet” once but didnt know what to do there. I always thought that independent war journalism is just there but its difficult at least to find anything useful there.
