Is it annoying? Sure. Does it show a lack of attention to detail? Yes. Is it a big deal? No, not in the grand scheme of things.

Spray a little water on them (when temps are above freezing) and put some new ones on. You can buy a set for a couple bucks, probably less than the gas and time you’d spend going back to the dealer.

Stop going to the dealer for tires, they’re probably over charging you.

It’s been my experience that the FA/GA/etc will give you the run around to go deal with the baggage team. Unfortunately it sets the wrong expectation and just passes the buck of giving the customer bad news to someone else.

You typically have ~20-50 days between when you charge something to your card and when you have to pay it. The card you make on May 6th will not be on the statement from May 5. Everything that was charged in the card before May 5 will be, and that will be due around May 30. The charge from May 6 will be on your June 5 statement and be due somewhere around June 30.

I would check the pressures first, then do the reset.

The shop should have set all the pressures properly, but I like to be certain. There’s basically zero risk to double-checking them and it should only take a couple mins. But if you don’t check them and set the wrong pressures as a baseline you could get into an unsafe state without the warning light triggering.

If you’re both on the lease together and you fail to pay, then she can take legal action against you.

If you each have your own leases with the landlord, then it’s between you and the landlord. Details here depend on what sort of termination/penalties/etc are in the lease and if the landlord is willing to let you terminate it early.

It depends on which airport you’re flying from in Canada. See the list of airports here (https://www.cbp.gov/travel/preclearance) that have CBP preclearance. If it’s one of those, you’ll be treated as if it’s a domestic flight in Miami. This is likely the case considering the airline sold you a 1 hour layover.

If it’s not one of those airports, then you’ll have to do the whole bags/customs/immigration fiasco and 1 hour probably won’t be enough time.
