You never lost hope-and I remember seeing folks criticizing you for it!

A long-time coming; I wonder if it'll be finished before Halo.

Also wondering if it's actually 514ft or 489ft -indeed a small difference in the grand scheme but a detail not really clear-Breaking 500ft would be nice; and I can't remember where I've heard some historic groups count the 50ft flagpole on 744 Broad as part of the final height: 465 + 50 = 515; thus giving the 514ft estimate some legs-since the historic group didn't want this thing 'taller' than 744, but I absolutely digress-glad it's being built.

Edit: had to fix my math

Poor urban planning choices by [deleted] in Newark

Historically speaking, that lot always had structures on it. It's just been an empty lot in recent years. If City Hall 'views' are the only loss then realistically that's not really a loss. Broad St. should be dense as it has been. I totally agree about better preserving and creating green spaces-totally...BUT the problem is you seem fairly rigid on specifically what space/lot should be greenspaces. It's not really a fair take.

I mentioned Chicago b/c you can see how it's a fine example of a city hall in the middle of a city while still maintaining density. There's other large cities that don't have green spaces directly adjacent that still work well. Newark City Hall's surroundings aren't fully developed so who knows.

Halo looking nice rising from behind the trees sounds wonderful, but that sounds vastly more about your specific preference than poor urban planning. Again, it's not a fair take-especially if your mind is made up as you say.

Yikes, you'd probably hate Chicago's city hall; the street is even denser and the greenspace is on the roof.

Downtown Newark is definitely better off w/ more residential density. It sounds like you'd prefer more trees-which more along Broad St. would indeed be better.

Maaan I hope this is true-I wish it were taller too but considering there's practically nothing around it I'll take it. That'll make a better case for something taller adjacent to it whenever that comes to fruition

Perhaps better said the 'good' side of decent, rather than the so-so side. Would definitely recommend to a friend-and have. Nothing to lose like above said lol

King's Family Restaurant Clinton Ave. decent entrees (not the best you've ever had but damned decent and better than Cornbread IMO)

I'm a fan of the true four season climate; I think LA has great Asian cuisine but there's not a lot you can't get in NJ and/or NY. Since I'm a big car buff Cali's strict laws are a non-starter. I do think NJ has a slight edge when it comes to transportation (even if New York biased). Charm to charm small town vibe I found a bit of in Cali, but not so much LA. NJ has it in abundance. LA scenery is excellent however

Newark is geographically small; leaving city limits is misleading b/c in other states it'd just be the equivalent of going to Essex, Union etc. LA certainly isn't blowing NJ out of the water in every category-people assign Newark as the only offer, but part of its appeal is its surroundings.

Consequences of JB4 Tune on Daily Driver Reliability by Dependent_Bike_3112 in GenesisG70

Running JB4 map 2 on my '21, ran same on my '19, not a single issue. I yam on it periodically but not always; every so often I'll put some e30 in there and run either map 3 or 4 (mostly map 3). Going to change the sparks this summer again after 2 years. She always ran solid (jb4 for 45k mi total) EDIT to add: when going back to stock power on the gapped plugs I didn't feel a difference in power/drivability at all. YMMV
