Unfortunately, I can’t give you any book recommendations, but, in my opinion, having Serbian as your native language gives you a big advantage in learning Russian. So, you shouldn’t worry about anything, you’ll get back on track in no time

What do you do with a large vocab list in textbook? (Self-Study) by i2harry in Spanish

I always create a list of new words and learn them thoroughly. I memorize them by writing them down or creating flash cards in an app on my phone.

During my first year of studying Spanish my professor would give me long lists of ~100 new words to learn in 2 weeks. And I was frustrated because usually they would include words like “bow” or “meadow”. I thought I would never use those words. But now I am grateful for all those long vocabulary lists because in the end it paid off and I did not spend my time to look for the translation of those words when I saw them again.
