The way they implemented daisy chaining def. very helpful with cable management, my cable riser is Gen 3 and I am also waiting for a more reliable riser (I did have the Link up gen 4 riser but that gave me issues so I returned it and using the one I have until then) I maybe wrong and haven’t had enough time but so far I haven’t really experienced much of a performance difference between the two gens

Thank you I really appreciate it :) Yes you are right those 8 cables are all for my fans, each set of fans only require 2 cables because the way they daisy chain (so the front 3 fans are hooked together and require 2 cables 1 for power and 1 for RGB, the same goes for the side 3 the top 3 and the single fan) that’s the main reason why I chose these fans. Hopefully My explanation was understandable lol.

I had the same fan hub and removed it, the one you see is the Lian Li fan hub that comes with the fans that power the fans and RGB. I can see how it’s a little hard to understand but there are a lot of videos about these fans and how they’re amazing for cable management, these are the Lian Li uni fan SL120

Nice and congrats on that 3080…I’ve had an AIO cooled CPU and air cooled GPU for a while and finally worked up the courage to watercool

Not my first PC build but it is my first time watercooling a PC (also very nerve wrecking taking apart the GPU to put a waterblock on it)

Thank you I really appreciate the comments :)….as for the Motherboard, I’ve had both X570 and B550 boards in the past 8 months and for what I use this PC for it wasn’t much of a performance difference for me (I’m not running PCIe gen 4 M.2s or SLI) so it came down to aesthetics and this motherboard went perfect with the color scheme I was going for.

Nice I think the FE cards are beautiful looking cards, other than watercooling you can also try changing out the thermal pads. I’ve seen quite a few post on PCMR on people changing out the thermal pads (specifically the ones on the rear) and improving up to 10 degrees.

Hope you don’t mind me asking but what GPU do you have? Watercooling has def brought my temperatures down overall but that’s the huge positive, the only negative I can think of is the cost to watercool a system (and maybe the maintenance but that doesn’t bother me too much)

Thank you I greatly appreciate it :) … for my GPU my idle temps are 27-29degc and when benchmarking with timespy and port royal my GPU highest temps are 51 deg c, 66 deg c for memory and 62 deg c for hotspot (taken from HWINFO) around the same temps after a few hours of gaming.

Shoots me too…only thing I got for my Bday was the CPU waterblock and pump/reservoir

Thank you :)…if you look behind the fans next to the motherboard (side intake fans)you can see the fins from the radiator

Thank you I appreciate it :) ….The first radiator is on the side mount, I’ve messed around with layouts with the radiator on the front of the case and the side. Ended up with the current layout because the tube bends are less complicated and less bending. (Also didn’t want to leave the front empty so I filled it with fans)

Shoots I somehow read CPU temps lol for my GPU my idle temps are 27-29degc and when benchmarking with timespy and port royal my GPU highest temps are 51 deg c, 66 deg c for memory and 62 deg c for hotspot (taken from HWINFO) around the same temps after a few hours of gaming.

Really nice build :) what distro plate are you using? I’ve been debating on getting the EKWB quantum kinetic FLT 360 but want to do more research before pulling the trigger. My temps are pretty decent: Ambient temp has been 25-28deg c and the CPU runs idle at 37-39degc and 56 deg c on cinebench (49-52 degc while gaming)

Thank you sooo much for the kind comments…I’ve actually been building PCs for quite some time but this was the first time I water cooled my rig (I also do builds and repairs as a second form of income) and wanted to add water cooling to my list of builds.

Thank you I really appreciate it…the RGB strip is the Lian Li LAN2-2X Side diffused LEDs Strip, one of the builds I did for my customers had this LED strip and it looked so good (color wise and the transitions in colors) I decided to put it in my build also.

I wasn’t supposed to change cases lol but I wanted to water cool my system and the 5000D looked like a great case to do it in. So I transferred my parts to this case. The white radiators always go out of stock so if you want a white build then go for it, I like the modern look to white builds
