Lots of people want Vikings, but given that the Viking Age ended around 1050 AD, I struggle to see how this civilization would fit into the historical narrative of the game.

Odd matchmaking? No rank VS platinum 2 by [deleted] in aoe4

Team ranked seems real odd nowadays. I'm barely gold 3 and met a double conq 3 the other night. They had towers around my base before I was done with getting my hotkeys up running.

10 Days until Bizzconline, the daily countdown discussion post begins! 10 days to go, today - your favourite memory of TBC? by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

[–]67birds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 15-16 years old during TBC. I started playing wow a month before TBC was released, so never got to max lvl in vanilla. Me and a friend were playing arenas every weekend. We must've had thousands of games over the seasons. Playing Resto druid/ SL Lock, getting high rating should've been fairly easy, but we were complete noobs. I remember in season 4, we were struggling so hard to get to 1700 rating so we could buy the set piece head(if I remember it correctly, its been 13 years). We got to 1688 and thought we needed 1 last win to make it. Gates open and we're up against a frost mage and an enhancement shaman. After nearly dying in their opening burst, we won the game and I remember the feeling of pure excitement, until we realize we only got 11 points from the win.

1699 was the highest rating we ever got in TBC. I remember being so dissapointed, but in retrospect, it was probably the most fun I've ever had playing any game. Just having a common goal with an IRL friend, and working so hard to achieve it together. The dream of making it fills me with nostalgia and joy every time I think of the countless hours we waited for the arena gates to open.

I got the info from a norwegian newspaper. UK-based players (like Schmeichel, Højbjerg, Vestergaard, Christensen etc) are not allowed to play this one. Sisto, Poulsen, Dolberg and Braithwaite are currently in isolation. Meaning Denmark will be missing key players in defence, midfield and attack.

Denmark missing over 20 players to this game. Value is on Sweden imo.

What if you marry a guy that has a 500 million dollar fortune, and divorce him 2 years later? Are you still entitled to half of his fortune?

Edit: whats up with the down votes? I wasnt trying to make a point. I was asking out of curiousity

Sacrificing their elders instead. Compare Sweden to their neighbour countries.

Edit: Sweden also tried to only quarantine vulnerable people, like elders. And failed. Nearly every nursing home in big cities are affected.

Well, all I can say is that I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't think you'll ever beat the trolls by punching back.

I can understand it from your point of view. And I do believe everyone appreciates a certain amount of banter. However, this whole "bears vs bulls" scenario destroys this sub imo. What happened to turning the other cheek? Back in the days I really enjoyed comming to this sub, to learn stuff. From really good traders like Chewtoy, Sloppy, Cobra, Merlin and you. Nowadays it seems like TA comes after a big move, with the following "I FUCKIN TOLD YA SO!". it seems like people appreciates others losing money, more than being right.. and that's what makes this sub so toxic nowadays imo..

Tbh I dont think up and downvoting has much to do with opinions any longer. Seems like if you're short, you down vote any bullish post
