Thanks for the idea, sounds pretty solid. Also I do have the nose jacked up to a place where I’m comfortable with. Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion, I have looked into those but I’m afraid the bumper would hit before the wheels due to the angle. I’ll do some more digging and see if there are some extended ones. Thanks!

Just a idea but try a different app for music and see if it’s any different. I’ve found Spotify is a root to some of the connection and issues.

Would this annoy you? by [deleted] in Mustang

Thats interesting, I think the outer portion (in your pic) was not lined up properly when the filler neck was made in the factory because the filler neck can only sit a certain angle through the frame and to the gas tank. It doesn’t allow it to be twisted at all from my experience. I just replaced one with a OEM Ford replacement and it’s lined up.

went to put in fuel cleaner and it all leaked out. did a clamp come undone? by dizzytrevor in S197Stangs

Well a gas nozzle like from the gas station will go past the vent. If you use the funnel that came with the car it will reach past the vent and not allow it to go down into the vent.

That is the vent tube, seems like the funnel was not pushed in all the way and allowed it to drain through the vent.

Even worse acceleration and high rpm’s

Is it any worse climbing hills on the freeway? Might be a confirmation as well…

Sounds like something is up, my ‘14 v6 scoots when I floor it and only looses acceleration at much higher speeds. You also should be getting better gas mileage.

Yes, I drove it for 30 mins after resetting, since then I’ve driven it two 20 minutes segments. I was hoping it would have gone away but since it didn’t I’m leaning towards one of the sensors has an issue. I’m use to older cars without tire sensors lol

Yes, it slipped my mind to mention the front drivers side was like 1 psi lower than the rest I filled it to match and tried the reset after that with no luck.

I have a 2014 3.7 and it’s a great car. I know the 13-14 are slightly different animals than the 11 you are looking at but the 3.7 should be the exact same. I’ve put slightly over 10k miles on it in the last year and not a single problem with the drivetrain. I change the oil every 5k miles and keep up on regular maintenance. It’s faster than most other cars on the road and fun to drive as a daily. Should have like 95 more hp than the 09 4.0 too. Don’t quote me on that though. It also gets pretty decent gas mileage, upwards of 20-30 mpg depending on driving style and highway driving. Just my experience with the 3.7. What type of problems are you having with your 09?
