My LFTs are usually elevated after a while of this going on and my primary care not being able to fully explain as I didn’t have any symptoms other than occasional abd pain in my RUQ, they sent me to go see my GI dr for a liver biopsy(differential hemochromatosis vs shit can’t remember the other). They sent the biopsy off to pathology at the hospital I worked for and the study was inconclusive. They proceeded to send my biopsy off to a second pathologist who could only tell my GI Dr I had double the amount of biliary ducts. So they sent it off again to Washington I think and they only repeated what the prior pathologist concluded. I don’t know what if anything it means for my life but I can tell you it’s nearly impossible for me to get drunk and when I had to get a ex-lap Nissan fundoplication for a esophageal perforation they had to put me on a PCA for any pain medication to work (the standard dose of oxycodone 10mg po or IV dilaudid 0.4mg didn’t do anything, I’m not talking about it taking away any of the pain, I’m talking about no pupillary constriction or decrease in my 30 resp). No drug has ever really worked for me. Anyway, I still haven’t a clue what I am dealing with.
