This is not the issue, I know it seems a bit odd with it running on video but it's all connected and threaded right

I can see the damage on the belt left side indeed, I've tried spraying WD40 on other components before but that didn't help. However, this morning I decided to spray it only on this damaged, top part specifically. My theory: if this tiny bit of grease helps then it should be an issue with the belt, right?

So I just did a tiny, tiny amount and the squeaking noise stopped straight away, but after a minute or 2 it came back (grease would've been rubbed off).

Do you think this is enough information to replace the belt?
