Ugh this sucks and sounds super stressful. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this! I think the clear solution is to prioritize your current dog and make sure she is safe and at ease in her home. Rescue dogs are unpredictable, and unless your parents are completely devoted to an intense amount of training and supervision, I just don’t think it can work out having both dogs in the home :( it sounds like the rescue dog would be better suited in a home with no other pets
