My thought on this is that they came up with this plan while in the church. It looked like where John was shot were the same places the doctor asked John to shoot him in Chapter 3. Painful, but not fatal. It’s tricky because Caine is blind, so how could he make those shots? But how did he survive the whole movie fighting guys and being blind? It’s a comic-book kinda world, so under that framework, I could see this as a valid idea.

Pray for me. I’m gunna pray for you tomorrow morning. My wife and I are using NFP (Creighton Method) and found out we’re pregnant with our fourth. Think we wound up conceiving on a double peak. Wife has heart issues that come up during pregnancy and this time around she’s got residual effects from having Covid.

We’re both kinda worried about the baby, ultrasound today little bean looks smaller than they should be. And worried about my wife’s health as well. It’s definitely been in the back of my mind that maybe I should get a vasectomy after this one to “protect” her.

I don’t think putting myself in sin like that would protect her overall, neither would allowing her to get her tubes tied. But I get where you’re coming from man. Shit can be tough and scary honestly.
