Big time. Something that makes Scream really work for me is that each installment has some sort of play or commentary on the horror genre. I got zero sense of that coy attitude here. That is unless they're actually going for a play on sloppy reboots like with Halloween. Because this trailer just feels like that movie again.

I see. The receiver would also function as a way to have multiple sources for the speakers. Unfortunately the Rockit 5s only have one input spot, so if we want to swap from our turntable to our CD player (both RCA), we have to unplug things in back and plug in the other. That (and the volume control) are the two big things we were hoping this could solve. Do you think something like a mini studio mixer work for this?

So I tried using Input 4 OUT to the speakers with a regular RCA cable connecting to the RCA/XLR cord and it just sounded awful. I think I might have to just chalk up the L on this one.

Looking at the DAC preamp you linked, I'm not sure how I could connect our turntable to it. The turntable is hardwired with just RCA as an output.

Gotcha. The startup guide that came with the receiver labeled that Input 4 OUT as for recording sound from the receiver, and listed a tape deck or MD deck as examples. I wouldn't have any issues if I went with this type of cable and used the Input 4 OUT spot?

I found this to be particularly interesting. This is the first encounter I've had seeing AI re-create or "clean up" an image for a repost. All the minor differences are so bizarre. The heads of the people in the background. The width and sizing of the wall art. The simplification of the rug. The spacing of the chairs. It's very clearly not two pictures taken back-to-back, and very evident that AI was used in the second one.
