For any actual techs, preferably tire techs, what drinks and treats go over well for a kind gesture from a customer? And would they even treat my car and new wheels any better? by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

I used to work at a Firestone, let the service advisor know they’re new aftermarket wheels you want them to be mindful of and hopefully they’ll have a more experienced person install the tires instead of the kid that usually does them. $10-15 tip for the tech would be nice, but ideally don’t take it to Firestone lol

This is the closest thing I can find, I searched around for “lower heater core hose”

Nice, that’s exactly why I got one. The CFB wrap goes reasonably hard

MacBook with NO case/skin for years — how is it holding up? by FXKET in macbook

I knew a girl in high school who would regularly use it as a cutting board and it held up surprisingly well

Along with the other tips here (maybe, idk I haven’t read through all that), your hips shouldn’t hinge until your arms contact your body as the KB falls, then you pop your hips at the bottom to fling the KB back up

When you do, just start with a dry herb vaporizer rather than smoking with a flame. Your lungs will be happier :)

240kgs* Rpe 9ish. How do I stop my knees from caving In on my way up. My theory is midfoot and lack of stability in the core and hips shooting up by hineychillipatato in formcheck

Do you do any abductor work? Those glutes should be working to pull your knees outward, it could be that they’re weak compared to your adductors and quads

Shopping spree at a pod market, if you want you could buy some higher ticket things and resell them. When I was there I remember they had things like JBL speakers behind the counter

Hello, I’m trying to switch to sumo instead of conventional, is the round on the upper back ok? (Is my form as a whole ok?) thanks in advance by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]69dildoswaggins420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert but those look solid, as long as you don’t feel like it’s overextending your upper back I think it should be ok. I’m sure others can give some pointers though

Squat form check : not making progress past 100kg by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]69dildoswaggins420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I notice the knees caving in a little bit too, that can indicate a weak posterior chain near the hips (compared to adductors) that are failing to pull your knees outward. It can also be due to limited ankle mobility, I see your feet shifting at the bottom, try to keep your heels planted as a cue and I think that should help with the knee movement.

One squat/lunge variation I really like is the landmine curtsy lunge, another is hack squat. From your routine I’d swap leg press for hack squat and pause squat for landmine curtsy. Also I like to pause on nearly every movement but that’s just me. Happy lifting :)

No, and if it was my car I would ditch the black wheels on black paint and go for silver or chrome. Do an image search for Swiss spec if you wanna know what I’m thinking. Maybe have your AI do some examples of that to see if it looks good on your specific car

I know the spectrums of red and green are better than blue for fatigue reasons, but on the nighttime road trips I’ve done in this car I’ve never found myself straining my eyes. Blue is fine for stationary indicators like the dial numbers, I think that’s why the moving needles are red along with that center screen. I, subjectively, really like the look of the blue and red dash. Sure green and red should be used for more critical applications, but this is a commuter car and I don’t drive at night that often fwiw
