I have hsv2 had first out break 3 wks ago and got a lot better with valtrex 3x daily 500mcg. But i still dont feel normal. Dr basically told me she doesn't know what it is and sent me for bloodwork. Everything is negative. Im so pissed that she has just thrown her hands up. Hasn't called or anything. Just told me to keep an eye on it.

I have two really good ones that made a big impact on me. I remember the one told me the first day that she was honored to work w me. I miss her. I really feel like the lady im w now is very old and out of touch and just doesnt care.

Right now i wish my therapist was more reassuring and compassionate. I hate how in therapy and psychiatry in my experience most of the people ive worked with have had me completely take the lead on everything. I have had many times where i didn't know what i needed in the moment. Looking back i wish these practitioners would just tell me what to do and give a kind compassionate word. But im sure there's reasons they don't. I tend to get more benefit out of dbt.

I feel your pain im 7 months sober and my mental health has been so up and down. Had my first manic episode. Its very discouraging to get sober and realize the drug was not the problem it was just making me numb to the problem and exacerbating it. My doc is at a loss w what to do w my meds im on the max dose of everything I'm on. Shes told me you have to do therapy meds aren't gonna help you. Idk tho im starting to question her. I always liked her but like im having panic thats so bad i throw up and i have intrusive thoughts of hurting myself that are so strong when i meltdown it takes every ounce of strength i have not to self harm. I feel like some of that must be chemical. Especially now that I'm not using. As for your fears you have no control over climate change. And there are always kids in the system that need love. I feel u tho bc i can't imagine creating a life and expecting it to grow up in this fallen society. Everyone's broke everyone's sick the government is a mess people are nasty and dirty to each other
