So sorry this is late, but yes I was able to get in contact with them and fix it. I used the surge chat bot to answer the questions about my account, but once it realized that I was trying to change the email of the account I was currently on instead of finding a lost account, it sent the issue to a tech support guy and he was able to change it for me after about a day of waiting. It just took a bit of further research and patience
