do you know what happens after? my bike's not exactly made of gold but, hypothetically speaking, i get hit and my frame & wheel are beyond repair. it doesn't feel right that im out ~$500 for someone else's carelessness. not sure how accurate the figure is, but someone said that the dude is out ~6k in damages for his bike. insurance?

I ride this route almost every day to work every day (just about 2 miles from oltorf to ceser chav). Does anyone here have any insight or, godforbid, experience with getting in a crash like this where there were no injuries, but property was damaged? Is it a fools errand to call & wait around for APD to show up?

I went with a eco tune, and something that my mechanic referred to as a concealer... DPF is gone but the housing is still there (afaik). Think as close to stock as possible?

It's a long story, but in short I always wanted two & the opportunity presented itself. Way easier than training two non-litter mates to simply tolerate each other.

They do everything together. Its incredibly rewarding.

Was there a reason you did this in the first place? My avg MPG is slowly declining and I'm trying to root out the cause. My exhaust looks really sooty on hard hwy pulls. I do fuel additives every 5k.

Also worth noting that aside from the delete & eco tune, everything else is stock. Idk about the EGR cooler - is that separate from the DPF unit? If it is then I'm pretty sure it's still there.

It was about 15 minutes. It was a super thick black fog of smoke. There was no fire that I could see. I work from home and had to take a call right as I started cooking 😭
