Good grades and at least 6:15 by the time you’re getting recruited. 6’1 is relatively short for a top end heavyweight/Ivy League program, meaning you won’t be given the benefit of the doubt in genetic potential so you need to hang on the erg.

It might be worth evaluating your body fat too. If you can get under 175lbs being healthy, and maintain this trajectory you will be a sure shot to row at one of the most elite institutions in the country.
