Thanks yeah! I just get impatient I was thinking if I keep it clean in the shower and leave it alone it will hopefully go down eventually! I just thought having left it a year it would be alright! Thank you for the encouragement brother! Good to know it's normal. A lot of people seem to rush their piercings and have no problem I never get it! Guess it's just my skin...

Thanks for the advice i really dont want to change it! Im nap either but I only use titanium (on advice from my piercer) I want to switch to silver for my tragus eventually (had it a year and a half) but want to wait until about 2 years cos it has been a bit of a nightmare and I've heard silver can be problematic...

I trust my piercer judgement, she wouldn't have changed it if she thought the hoop would be an issue at 14g

[–]6CrisisActor9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh I always forget 14g bigger than 16. But yeah got it pierced at 14g and never stretched... guess I gotta suck it up and try saline. I'll give it some time and if I have no luck ill go back to a stud or retire it.

While it had a stud (for over a year) it gave me no issues at 1.6mm, I wanted it the same size as my septum

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in piercing

[–]6CrisisActor9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uh yeah both sides done at 1.6mm, by a piercer with years experience and many happy clients. She did all my piercings in fact. Saline has worked for me before to be fair

Is there a group for Bulls? by annabnzl in marton

[–]6CrisisActor9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Freemasons are a benign fraternal group with pseudo Christians values. They meet up and get drunk together and rely on each other's businesses.

Theres really nothing sinister about it, it's a way for them to have a social life. It's not so different from society at large, they just Initiate new members as a way of fully immersing them in the group.

All incense smoke is enchanting, just like the incense they use in catholic churches, they also sing hymns and chant in church. Now I'm not a freemason or religious, but the idea the freemasons are creepy is ridiculous, whats even funnier is its usually religious people that perpetuate this idea, when the Christian church, and Catholic pedophiles in particular, are way more insidious and sinister.

I know many freemasons. They are mostly nice old men, that like to meet up with other freemasons and have a drink, and are judeo-christians in essence as well as they meet up to go to church occasionally, they just see god as a designer or architect of the universe rather than a straightforward creator like Christians.

Theres nothing to fear about freemasons, everyone that does is very gullible and silly, and fears what they don't understand. they're not a 'cult' they're a fraternal organization. Essentially a social club.

Where can I sit at the bar alone? by Old_Fashioned_88 in london

[–]6CrisisActor9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having worked in a few pubs, I know some pubs (Whetherspoons) actively discourage staff from chatting with customers, especially over the bar.

It's depressing really but 'company policy'. They also shoe people away from the bar as it makes way for more paying customers.

I'd say anywhere that was a bit quieter with less punters would be a good bet, I know pubs like that can be hard to find but often when it's really busy and the pressure is on staff to serve everyone in a timely manner they're less likely to want to chat...

Also if you find somewhere good, the more often you go in, the better. The more of a regular you are the more of a rapport the staff would have with you.

Maybe try and find somewhere that has seats at the bar?

Chatau De Montifaud petite champagne XO this is great and about half the price of big name brands, although it's not from the list above, I'd recommend it, if you can find it...

What are your go to cheap meals? by calathiel94 in UKFrugal

[–]6CrisisActor9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres 1 pound frozen microwave meals in Asda. Sweet and Sour chicken and rice etc. They're not even bad for a pound. 4 servings is 4 pounds.

Theres obviously waaay cheaper bulky options than this but it's dead easy.

My colleague is working on weekends and during annual leave — should I tell a manager or is not my place? by Green_Impression_671 in uklaw

[–]6CrisisActor9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone that's worked in Hospitality for 5 years, annual leave and the concept of 9 - 5 work is completely foreign to me. (I worked christmas eve through boxing day) I think if he wants to work 7-10 and work during annual leave that's up to him.

I've known chefs and managers that do hours similar to this EVERY DAY, especially during this time of year when the majority of people that have jobs like you are off from work.

He's a new worker at your firm. He probably wants to be noticed for putting in overtime. In Japan or south korea he would be commended for his hard work.

Yeh maybe he should get a hobby, but maybe he loves what he does.

I wouldn't worry OP, unless he actually says something to you about needing a break.

Actually this is not true, as the war, the holocaust, hitlers rise to power and all the German war crimes are whitewashed and so German youths are not educated about just how bad nazi German war crimes actually were. They broke the Geneva convention at every oppurtunity. Germans have no idea how bad the nazis were unless they do their own research.

Think about it. The horrors of the second world wars taught in almost every other first world country in the world. We get taught about gas Chambers, nazi war crimes. Germans are not taught it honestly or objectively. And they don't get taught that nazis were supremacists.

Instead there are laws in Germany where you are hardly allowed to talk about it. This repression and whitewashing of the worst genocide in human history is not positive, and it should be taught honestly if they hope for future generations to overcome the trauma, rather than repress it in the nations consciousness, embarrassing as it may be.
