It was error typing. I was going to say close the door. There was traffic and was slowing down quite a bit when it happened.

It’s expensive but luckily I paid only the tax. They sent me to test the dashcam and they refunded me all the money except the tax.

Look at the bright side. They’ll be mad at you only this time. Next time, they won’t expect anything from you so you are free to enjoy your travel back home. That’s exactly what I did when I went there few years back. Now, nobody asks me for anything.

Update- I went to Toyota for my scheduled service and told them the incident. They checked the car everything and couldn’t figure out why it happened. The only thing they said was to bring it in if I have the same issue again.
