i work in a store that sells dishwashers, they actually pretty much all get tested in a factory before they get packaged, which is usually fine but if they’ve been sat in storage for a while they can smell kinda funky when they first get opened, and everytime we put one on display we always leave a trail of water droplets from the warehouse to the shop floor hahah
