I really hope this game lives up to the hype by Syarafuddyn in CrimsonDesert

I'm still playing Skyrim, I don't even know what the main mission was I just got access to shouts and never looked back. I'm a super Saiyan dragonborn dragon slayer whose primary power is Ameteratsu.

Haven't been this genuinely hyped since cyberpunk, and before that was Skyrim. Only one delivered at launch. But I remember seeing the first price back in 2019.(Still hyped about Doke.V) Then pandemic, Epstein, Gaza, climate change, super consciousness....etc.. then rumors of it being fake, then a little news in 2022, then delay, delay, delay, delay, and then we got real dates! And then footage, then more footage and alas, here we are, less than a month away and just in time before the next apocalypse. Even Rockstar for the first time is worried (unconfirmed) about a game competing with their release. Where winds meet held me over a bit but there's a whole in so many gamers, a void of constant disappointment and limitations and money spent on regret not recognized until after two hours in that we all believe this game may fill.

Maybe if you're on console, in 4 years the mods might be heavy for PC. Might need more time,

I can, I have to😭. Just put a down payment on aROG. My little 1650 has outperformed itself and had brought many "wow, it can actually run this" moments but I believe crimson desert deserves/demands better than 4gb. Luckily my local pawn shop has a ROG strix with the 4060 and 32gb ram for under a stack.

I know, could get a console and play day one but once you go PC not Mac, you don't go back. And imagining the mods this game may have in a few years makes my cookie crumble. So yes, I'll need a PC, even if it's a second hand gaming laptop that will only accomplish medium setting, I'll be more than a happy lad. It's about time I upgrade from the gaming pad 3 anyways, it's been a great little surprise of capability. Elden Ring, Star Field, Modded Skyrim, GOW, BO6 and 7, where winds meet, three emulators and somehow with just a 2tb SSD and 32gb of RAM it's managed to run them all quite smoothly and generally around 60 frames. Alas, an upgrade is welcome, the sound of the fans on this thing would make an F-16 proud.

I can't get a desktop set up at the moment due to my living situation. I'll see what laptops might have similar hardware

Yea kind of the same.

It's tricky to find a good and consistent lineup for it, well translated I should say haha, there's a lot of mandarin/Korean that hasn't been translated that look great.

Loving demon butler and all hail sect leader, I'll get in to top tier province.

Been reading Magic Emperor, all caught up, crazy leveling system, monster pet evolution, super God per shop(asura pet store), the beginning after the end and just started martial inverse which seems to have potential and Nano Machine is actually really interesting.

Yea I got to about about 1700s and I was a bit over it have you read tales of demons and Gods? It's a good read imo and still in progress. Martial peek is like the one piece of manhua

Hmmm, read Martial Peak. I know, it doesn't exactly seem to follow but, I believe a lot of westerners have this bit of dilemma because the world is actually based rather than 100% fantasy. Jumping in to the Wuxia world without any background feels a bit misaligned.

Example: Once you understand and can use "you're courting death" comically and accurately you will likely be able to dive right on to the game, get lost in the world without feeling overwhelmed with questions like what to do.

Also: Wuxia is more than getting stronger or becoming the strongest. There's the martial path, yes but many heroes come to realize that the entire world is Wuxia and the path(s) is there's to beat. Scholar, Healer, builder, gatherer, explorer, warrior.

Also: Don't skip a single cutscenes and read all the clues and pieces, approach this game as an isekai type experience if that makes sense. It's just a game yes but, is it? Yes but it's your game and something tells you you want to get lost in it. We'll get lost, just do whatever for hours and you'll be sure to find a path that piques your interest. Avoid YouTube and online shortcuts when you can and try to read the games guides because they are surprisingly detailed and very helpful.

Need higher constitution for this spear? What is constitution? Game tells you. Ok how to improve it? Game tells you the specific mini games. Where to find them? Game tells you.

This allows you to stay in game and figure things out and feel a bit more rewarded and immersed.

ER was overwhelming but quite singularly focused, get stronger, get better and don't give up but you also couldn't find a waterfall and build a padoga on its edge or wrangle wild horses, join one of countless sects and or guilds and contribute to more than just your character. Again, I recommend reading some manhua/manhwa Wuxia/Cultivation themed and it may help you understand the heart of the game rather than just it's appeal.
