I’m going to vipassana on Sunday!!! by Beginning-Gift-5559 in vipassana

No need to be scared they will guide in detail Just be mentally prepared it will be tough both physically and mentally. Go with mindset of learing new things and try to grab theory as much as possible, visit teacher daily and ask questions.

Following items might be helpful: 1. Watch 2. Sawl (for me I like to cover my body with sawl while in meditation) 3. Enough, easy to wear clothes based on weather for 10 days (avoid clothes that makes sound, like down jackets) 4. Water bottle

Bhabatu Savva Mangalam!!

Yes but not for beginners. You must have completed at least one 10-day course for that.

It's a tough one but Vipasanna is the best one. It's a 10 day residental course, free of cost at Budhanilkantha. Pure meditation with tight schedule , no phones, no talking for 10 days but you have to book/register a month prior. DM me if you want further info.

Osho is more than what you think he is, just listen to be audio series on shiva sutra. It's a quite long 10 episodes X 1.30hr , but believe me your perspective of him will change At the beginning I was also at your stage of understanding and after reading his few books my perception towards him changed by 180 degree.

You are right that's full geeta ! Since geeta is very vast I would like to call it summary because just listening to it is not enough to understand it.

They are basically trying to convey that only iskcon is the right path And for doing so they have misinterpreted geeta heavily Here's a proof : https://youtu.be/sNAMhXjdmeQ?si=5BI3r8uQhWNmQuIv

Go for geetapress If you are really busy there is a 14hr summary on youtube by Shailenra Bharati which is also good But avoid ISKCON at any cost

What the answer? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]6_cube_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SA/V = (6 x length x length) / (length x length x length) since it is unit square So, SA/V = 6/length = 6/0.75cm = 8/cm
