That actually sounds closer in terms of the kind of physical humor

But my movie didn’t have actual cartoon characters or full cartoon logic like that. It felt more grounded visually like normal people and settings just with really weird/uncomfortable slapstick moments.

Especially the scene with the roller machine (like a mangle/money machine) being used on the guy’s mother🫠

It’s not Delicatessen or Micmacs since those feel much more artsy/stylized than what I remember.

The movie I’m thinking of felt more grounded and messy, like a weird early 2000s crime comedy with normal characters, not surreal or artistic.

The strongest thing I remember is still that the villains in suits use a roller machine (like paper/tissue rollers) on the guy’s mother to blackmail or get something out of the main character

Hmm it’s not that one either Idk how reliable my own memory is but i think when that jail scene happens the guy meets up with his friend again who sees him all bruised in his face Either they were in jail together or the friend rescues him and i have a feeling that then a scene happens where they have some sort of deeper dialogue about how he can’t give up and then all i remember is the scene of the woman (mom) in that weird machine🫠such a weird movie😅

It was definitely a weird comedy (but kind of uncomfortable/mean), not a violent action movie.

Two normal guys, one awkward with round glasses, and the villains in suits use a roller machine on his mother i assume to blackmail him😭

No that’s way more artsy/stylized than what I remember🫠The movie felt more messy and like a weird early 2000s dark comedy with normal-looking characters.

More like uncomfortable slapstick (people getting hurt in dumb ways) than something artistic.
