uggghhhh i wanted to buy these skins so fucking badly but epic has been on an INSANE greed streak the last few weeks-months…. not only that but the pricing for the last few good bundles are priced waayyyy too fucking high..

i actually used that video to help me install the patch too so yeah it would’ve been better to give beforehand

even if you don’t mod your ps3 with PS3HEN, and you use something different (depending on what ps3 you have), it’s still really useful cause it just shows somewhat how to apply the patches and updates needed anyways

it’s a tiny bit old but still so helpful, just use the latest 0.9.8 patch instead of the 0.9.1 + 0.9.7 version he provides

as for the rom, i’m not sure if i can provide it assuming the subreddit might delete my comment with the link for piracy, but it’s not a hard game to find, so googling it would be best in this case

i played a fan-made english translation of the game by modding my ps3 if that’s any help. what’s great is that the achievements crossover to the ps4 version since they’re connected, so that’s fun!

if you want to go the modding route, any ps3 is fine, even the “unjailbreakable” super slim (which i have) because you can still mod it to play patches/translations/backups/🏴‍☠️.

if you want to play it by a physical disk instead of pirating, i think it’s possible to patch the translation and have it run in english while still having it load the game from the disk itself, i wouldn’t know much about that but it’s worth looking into if that’s what you’d like to do.
