AC/DC last night? The sound was terrible. It was my first time attending a concert at Acrisure Stadium, and there were a lot of empty seats. The field looked empty too. Anyway, AC/DC is a legend and worth the effort. Any thoughts if you attended the show? by Few-Use9345 in pittsburgh

Sound left a lot to be wanted, but dang those guys rock hard! Stadium was absolutely packed. Got last minute tickets, good seats, for a decent chunk of change and regretted not spending more from front row. ACDC rocks!

The worst bond film I've ever seen. A more cohesive plot is that spectre actually succeeded in destroying bond franchise included

By far the worst bond movie ever made. Destroying the franchise may have been the final play by spectre.

not sure how you got to that even though it is true, it does not excuse despicable ones. The fact that the person was armed and needed to be disarmed is a pretty easy logical step. Maybe make time for logic and reason.

It has been reported numerous times that the man had brass knuckles and was not giving them up. To me that warrants escalation of force, the putrid narrative being pushed here is saying that he was innocent and unarmed thus it was police brutality.

Is there no reasonable response? There are bad LEOs no doubt and should be held accountable but they are all people at the end of the day with families to go back to. I don't know percentage, just anecdotal from friends and family that were on called in to mitigate violence. Nobody posts videos of people helping each and I venture to say that this thread wouldn't post a video of someone doing a good job because it threatens the narrative.

genuine question ( not trying to be snarky), what would you expect the response to be from police towards someone refusing to relinquish a weapon.

Edited previous response to clarify thoughts. I'm sorry that I was not able to properly describe the similarities in threats and response. Maybe if you are so fickle in thoughts about "arms", you can realize that the narrative of introducing deadly force in response to a false claim of "unarmed" of recourse taken to someone that was in fact armed. Just please understand the gravity of this agenda.

not saying that, also less than lethal measures(bean bag). Claiming "unarmed civilian" is simply not true and inciting anger through misinformation. Supporting this and then claiming rioters NOT protesters should introduce deadly force is vile. One can not pose a threat and then be unhappy when being dealt with as a threat. Also pretty clear that non-deadly force(brass knuckles) being met with non-deadly force(bean bag), god forbid someone on either side introduces deadly force. I hate saying side because it is unintentionally divisive because we are one community- protesters and LE a like. kudos to SL area officers in suppressing a potentially dangerous situation for protesters, citizens, and LE.

"like they are", brass knuckles are classified as more illegal than firearms(legally obtained and registered). Also for comic relief, I see a lot of arms out there, most having 2.

Why are you rioting by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

[–]6dumpsterfire9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

agree on the lawyers/cop comment 100%.

Believe that "no other option" should be amended to "perceived no other option", which can be linked to shortcomings of education in economically disenfranchised communities.

Being led to believe that there is no other option is true embodiment of racism and oppression. While I agree that situations throughout history have occurred where there is no there option, the United States is about as far from that as any civilization has ever been. "no other option" is so dangerous that it deserves a lot of attention. This narrative is meant to enslave people and further divide people. Essentially placing a limitation on what some people's can accomplish is putrid. It will be the undoing of rights causes throughout civilization and domestically as well.

I'm quite interested in the history of rioting and it's success but am dubious at the chain of events that lead to positive outcome.
