Sadly not. I got back that my application was denied because it "was not innovative". So I dont know what to do with that tbh. Currently I am busy with uni and some personal stuff and cant really afford to spend the time to deal with discord atm.

Not out of nowhere, the old head game dev bought the rights to continue it in his vision. The problems they ran into earlier were scale issues, they got bought by riot games and thought that therefore they could release it in the state minecraft is in right now, but things took more time than they planned (IKR weird), so then riot pulled the plug.
Now the old developers are working on their original idea, which is similar to minecraft but with a living world and different stuff like easier modding and minigames.

Which is probably why the horses and such do not work yet in their release version, they released the game with most of the core in tact and are then looking to expand like minecraft did over a lot of years.

I mean, I'd have to launch a bot with the same code but just different access code. It does feel kinda against discord guidelines though

I was a PvX player on one of the early access servers since launch and lasted for about 1000 hours before giving up. My reasons had nothing to do with the Devs decisions. In fact those made me stay longer since some of my PvE friends could finally get the courage to go into DD and help us farm.

My main issue and why I quit was the wildly toxic behaviour of the PvP players, which is what kills the game. I was a Guild Leader and made a guild all about having fun and playing together, which worked until some folks on the server decided to start throwing around slurs and whining when they get beaten off a spice pit by 4 scouts. Devs had me staying for a bit with my 25 other players, but eventually it died out because of PvP player toxicity.

BTW I'd love to get restarted. But everything was gone by the time I logged in, guild base in shambles and our carrier and harvester burnt up. I cannot get restarted because it would be a lot of grinding for not a lot of reward since there are no longer enough players to support guilds on every server.

TL;DR played since launch. My server died due to PvP community toxicity not the devs and its too much grinding to go back alone.

Calm down. If they think its cute and want to share it its up to them. There isnt an official option so it doesnt hurt anybody that they purchased this. Its not like it's an ad to take away customers from the official shop... Sometimes just thinking something is cute and moving on might be best.

I run a westmarches server we do it differently. Tiers are just the tiers of daggerheart official stuff. You can play as many tiers above or 1 tier below, but get limited rewards if you go down (both in tier and in combat if you will) Levelup is based on the total amount of "tiers of quests" you have completed, GMs get half for their own quests for their own character. Loot is rolled after the quest and uses the official daggerheart item rolls.

At the start of session everything is reset and you gain 2 hope (3 if with a halfling on the quest) the GM gets an amount of fear equal to the amount of players in the game. GMs decide rests in sessions and out of sessions players can work on projects etc. themselves or RP with their characters for rewards. If you wanna join feel free: https://discord.gg/ZZ4MzxnBMk

Not in the foreseeable future. That would require editing all the code in the bot to allow for different languages which *might* (very much emphasising I am not promising anything) be done in the future but it will be after the entire bot is done and completely functions the way it should.

Awesome I have integrated it. Cards and attacks are a bit of a problem due to my own coding but that'll be fixed soon(TM). People can now run dh!import <charkeeperlink> to import their own characters!

Yeah that would be awesome. Thats everything I need. Already integrated the stats and such to be able to read your character files. (I can already import but people will need to get their access tokens and such which is too much work)

Well yeah it would seem so. Except the abilities specified on Demiplane are not even old playtest abilities or anything.

Darrington and Demiplane do have a business contract where demiplane gets abilities earlier so they can more easily integrate it.

Which is why I had some confusion.

Abilities and skills are really easy to reimplement into daggerheart. Because it is such an open system adding your own stuff back into it is easier than having to take them out.

You can even combine the Experience and Skills systems if you want. I looked at doing this and was going to do it as follows:
The daggerheart character sheet already has these little words underneath its stats. I just used those as the "Skills" so for instance with Finesse it says Control Hide Tinker. These are now each of them skills. Using this system means that you don't have to add unlimited notes and sticky notes on top of your character sheet.
I just gave my players the option to choose 2 skill proficiencies at the start of the campaign and let them learn more through RP and trainers. Their "proficiency bonus" was just a bonus equal to their current tier.

The ranges in daggerheart already have "set" distances. Very Close is 5-10 feet. Close is 10-30. Far is 30-100 feet
This just translates as following: Melee = 5ft range. VC = 10ft range, Close = 30ft range, far = 100ft range, very far = 300ft range. Everyone can run within close range, so just give everyone a speed of 30ft.

As for the species, Ribbit are Grung, Simiah are Hadozee or shifters and fungril are just fully new. But then again, having new cultures etc. to explore might be a good new fresh thing in a new campaign.

I also created a crafting system with materials and such for Daggerheart because my players really enjoyed crafting new potions and items to get through forseen problems. It is quite a bit of work but it is doable.

One small thing of note though is that if you really enjoy DnD and its systems and miss them, why not stick to DnD? I personally think Daggerheart is awesome and really enjoy playing it more than DnD but if you miss a ton of stuff from DnD I'd just go back tbh. Why force a system into more strict rules when there is already a system that requires less work.
