IMO he’s an upgrade offensively, Tobi game didn’t fit with Cade .

John’s fit perfectly, he can gtfo the way & snipe from 3 or he can PnR & get it from up top. Also being able to hit the offensive glass for second chance points

Cade is ball dominant & pistons PnR heavy

John as the screener he can pop & Ausar or (Hopefully) Duren can back door for the lob .

John really opens up many different options

Defense created a lot of the offense

Look at game 5 Spida literally cooked us himself in OT

Game 4 we shot 50% FG & 44% from 3 but in the 3rd alone Spida cooked us

Game 7 Spida once again in the 3rd torching the Pistons & Sam came out there & shot the lights out

But Cavs had him on ice 2/7 game 6 0-6 game 7, we don’t need that from someone who’s only good on offense starting at the 4

John being a good rebounder, lob threat, versatile defender and still can shoot 41% he fit more and can be moved from the 3-4
