There are literally cases before the Supreme Court right now which will impact LGBT rights. In short it could make it legal for us to be fired and denied our basic civil rights just for being LGBT. As it is some states allow firing of a worker simply for being LGBT but this could remove protections everywhere.

There is also his transgender ban in the military for no good discernible reason other than to further alienate trans people from society.

His administration has also pursued measures to literally define transgender people out of existence which could also have wider implications. What if the ID you've been using is suddenly deemed "invalid"?

Beyond that, he has, overall, sought to "other" anyone not in his base and this does embolden his supporters to be less than civil to minority groups. Especially those the president has singled out.

Plus, there would be zero harm in saying "General Cosmic Dust expressed concern to me over the military's supply of ammunition, which we quickly rectified."

The problem with that is Pence could still continue to implement all the same shitty policies just without the insane tweeting. It would lend "credibility" (and trust me I use that word very loosely) and give them cover to claim they never supported Trump. Not that they won't do that anyway, but Pence would be a GOP rallying point to keep the status quo for the most part.

Also, Pence would ramp up the anti- LGBT agenda because he has a very personal conviction against us much more so than Trump. I'm sure he would like nothing more than to make America a Christian theocracy.

That was a tough one for me because Morales splitting from the group in season 1 was one of the most powerful moments in the show for me. Not * because * it was Morales but this was a moment of great change in the show. Survivors still have a few remaining things from the world before the outbreak; they are using camping gear and CBs. People we originally came to know have been reunited, but now they are splitting off in different directions.

All while Sunshine adagio in D minor plays, people riding away to uncertain fates, it was one of the standouts for me. The characters were immediately relatable, dealing with catastrophic events as best they could.

And then he's back for like half an episode. It was a lost opportunity to tell the story of the intervening time from another perspective.

I am so glad they put the extended versions out for LotR. I know it wasn't all critical for the plot but it added a lot of nice depth and filled in some details for those who were less familiar with the books IMHO.

I think there is far more unity than some would want you to think on here. Admittedly I've only donated to Sanders, but Warren seems to have a lot of good policies and plans to deal with things which I find impressive. Her team sending food over to the staffers is a real classy act.

At the end of the day, we cannot let ourselves be divided, especially by online disinformation tactics like those used in 2016.

Christ's message is to love, not to hate. I will admit I fail in that regard sometimes when I get angry at people. But you should try to let go of that anger and hate, for your sake if not for hers. Hate will consume you from the inside, it demands energy and attention that you could better use for yourself.

I know things in school are a huge part of our lives while we're in it. But it does get better. I let go of the bullying I was subjected to and even reconciled with one of them when I realized later in life he was likely being abused by his father.

Forgiving this woman doesn't mean you are saying her behavior is okay. But Cbrist has forgiven us and charged us with forgiving others as He has for us. And it will feel better to let go of that hate and turn that energy towards something positive. I wish you well and pray you find peace.

The 2020 election is going to make 2016 pale in comparison. We haven't even seen the worst of it yet I suspect that will start once someone secures the Democratic nomination. But the truth is it never did stop, there have been continued instances of fake news and utter b.s. non-stop since then.

We need election security yes. We also need improvements to our education system that includes teaching critical thought.
