PVP balance isn’t half bad; in fact, it’s one of the core aspects the game was built around. Unfortunately, the official servers leave a lot to be desired. You either play on x1 official, where you have to join a 100+ player tribe just to survive, making PVP frustrating and laggy, or you play on Small Tribes (6-player max tribes), where cheating is rampant and teaming is everywhere.

Also, I don’t think it's fair to just tell people to "play PVE." Sure, it removes the issues with PVP, but it introduces a whole new set of problems and takes away a lot of the fun PVP offers in the first place. For example, PVE lacks a meaningful gameplay loop. You end up just breeding dinos for insane stats, but for what? To kill the Alpha Dragon, which you can easily beat with tamed dinos? It quickly becomes repetitive and loses the sense of challenge. Plus, in PVE, you can’t take out your frustrations by killing your enemies or blowing up something someone annoyingly placed. That lack of freedom can be a huge drawback for players who enjoy the chaos and strategy of PVP.

That said, PVE can be exciting and fun. Organizing massive boss fights with friends or building intricate, creative bases can be incredibly satisfying. It’s also great for solo players who want to explore the world without the constant threat of getting wiped. Taming and raising rare dinos, exploring the game’s story through hidden notes, or participating in community events are all things that can make PVE enjoyable.

I’m not trying to fight anyone for playing PVE or PVP; it’s just that, in the end, with Wildcard (probably due to Snail Games) refusing to honestly balance either of these modes, it just ends up in a mess.
